The biggest flaw, the drill has a hole not a peg. So it will seriously limit the drill's use.

Just curious, what was the reasoning behind the oversized chest?

I know some people dislike light-piping, but I have to say I like it on the Siege Shockwave and Soundwave molds because it actually works. The ambient light is enough to make their eyes glow without even trying.

 

Could you put 2 tapes in it?

 

It's in reference to the original Soundblaster toy's modified chest.

In the G1 cartoon Soundwave could eject more than one cassette from his chest at any given time, but the toy could only hold one cassette.

It would've been too difficult to deepen the mold's chest cavity to hold two cassettes, so instead Takara modified the chest door to stick out further, making the chest cavity seem deeper.

Megatron: Dr. Wu DW-P38 sword (latest run doesn't include the other MP accessories) and tried putting in some LEDs in the chest but they really don't show up (even red barely shows up here...makes me wonder how poorly the Shockwave Lab green LED actually works). The extra kibble on the forearms is from the Tim Heada gap fillers (not planning to buy anymore of these kits due to major quality issues).

Optimus Prime: Toyhax smoke stacks and some of their labels for accents (putting them all on would make him look worse), Shockwave Lab SL45 LED matrix chest piece (bought some of their LED kits and they ALL have major quality control issues that I had to fix to work: battery chambers are too big for the actual battery so the battery can't make proper contacts [also the bare LEDs are blindingly bright and I put small white electrical tape circles over them], and sword from Boku BK01 weapons set (supposed to go with their BK02 trailer for movie OP).

The dioramas here have Kremzeek infestations.

There’s even a Soundwave reissue from a while back that uses the Soundblaster mold, so it’s a Soundwave that can hold multiple tapes! I think I own him somewhere...

 

I think that was a big part of Soundblaster's appeal, back when the toy was new.

Being able to hold and deploy more than one cassette made Soundblaster just that little bit more cartoon accurate.

Yep, the Toys 'R' Us exclusive "Commemorative Edition" release from 2007 uses the Soundblaster mold, but is in Soundwave colours.

This means that this particular release of Soundwave can carry both Laserbeak and Ravage, which were packed in with him.

Good find, I can't wait till I find Soundblaster but I'm still not sure which faction I'll have mine in (Either Galvatron or Nemesis Prime). As far as the Light piping I just wish the red was on Soundwave.
