It just looks like a mess. Funny how if Skullcruncher wasn't bent at the knees, he would probably be the exact same height as Apeface.

Siege Mirage is barely more complicated than POTP Jazz, yet is a full CM shorter. Jazz also has more paint and cost $3 less.

At least in the pics we see that someone got the Ape neck transformation done correctly. Also nice to see that the headmaster can fit in it’s rear cockpit correctly.

The only thing that has been bugging me since the release of these “in hand images” or the from the one video review is how the jet mode nose and cockpit swoops up. It’s weird! I’m hoping it is because of some mis-transformation.

I pre-ordered ApeFace when the figure images were first released. Everything looked perfect; the jet mode, Ape mode, and the bot mode. It arrives November 19.

Looks good but shouldn't be part of Siege.

I want to like this figure, but the jet-mode has an odd boxy quality to it that throws me, and a big part of that is the absence of his engine intakes that would end up on the Ape-mode's shoulders. Something even the little TR version has. I suppose it would have caused issue given where the ape arms end up on the 'robot'-mode legs, but the jet still just looks rather off without the intakes.

Also I'm disappointed that the cockpit isn't the actual place for the head/titan master, that always bugs me.

This is also my only complaint with this figure. I’m really hoping that there is enough space in the void of the ape head when it tucks into the nose cone for Spasma to sit up inside. The real cockpit is just way too far back on the jet. I wouldn’t even mind if he had to stay in the Ape mode configuration.

Yikes, that milky white plastic and weathering aren't doing this figure any favors.

    The plastic choice is puzzling.

Happy for the people that can look past it.

I’m half driven to collect at least an entire part of this trilogy, and part driven by my love for the character. I’m not fond of the plastic choice though. It’s a real shot in the dark really, there must be some reason because he’s the only one.

That creamy white color continues to look really bad. Well, at least it’s a continuation in spirit of Titans Return, and a character that’s needed a modern figure for awhile now.
I think this figure helps to further the notion that strict adherence to G1 designs isn’t always the best.

With the exception of the United line where they layered paint over every damn inch of the fig, which resulting in horribly ugly paint rubs, there were only a few TakTomy decos worth noting, and those were solely because they were flat out unavailable anywhere else. Henkei Astrotrain and Megatron immediately come to mind.

EDIT: Almost forgot to say BOUGHT ON SIGHT.

Have no idea on what you\'re smoking but TR\'s horrible stickers and paint schemes were salvaged with LG. RTS Jazz\'s cumsock gummy yellow white plastic was also saved in the United Release. TLK/ AOE\'s horrible Leader Class Optimus was fixed in the Japanese release. Brand Unificaition is possibly the worst thing in recent memory and I miss TT\'s versions of Hasbro\'s releases.

Brand unification is bad except when it's not. How quickly people forget the dozens of other Siege figures they love as soon as a 'bad one' shows up.

I know the cockpit on the nosecone is suppose to be fake, but could the headmaster theoretically ride inside the hollowed out ape head underneath it? I'd imagine they'd need to bend their knees backwards to fit though.
