Man, seeing these designs in animation form makes me even more sad and depressed that Hasbro didn’t take advantage of the Cybertronian setting and try to get somewhat creative.

The voice acting is meh. In regards to the voices, it’s like this is a fan project rather than something official from Hasbro. And the animation looks meh. It doesn’t look too bad, but it’s nothing special. I’ll probably still give it a watch.

I'm looking forward to this. I'm not going in expecting this to be the greatest transformers show ever but I also expect I won't be disappointed.

Cyberverse is also a tie-in series for toys. It looks better than this.

also more fun since Cyberverse isn't ashamed of being a toy commercial for ten-year-olds, which is the vibe i'm absolutely getting from this project.

I think that's my biggest issue besides the shit writing (Allspark again? Really? Were the Quints not literally just revealed?) is that with so many talented VAs out there, we shouldn't have a cast of folks doing put-on impressions.

I think it's hilarious the show creators even consider this to be a twist at this point. They've all but spelled it out.

Honestly, it doesn’t feel terrible to me. Looks at least better then Prime Wars.

Not the greatest thing ever, but I feel I’ll enjoy this enough.

I'll wait to watch an entire episode before I decide, but personally I was hoping for some classic Sunbow movie style animation again. (especially with these designs)

Maybe the Quintessons are the ones who made the Allspark this time?

I'd be genuinely shocked if that were the case...

I'd have loved that. I'm so over "dark, gritty" Transformers. It always, always feels forced and cringey and hard to watch.

It's definitely a little jarring. The "fan project" feeling is reminiscent of Combiner Wars, and then they went ham hiring named voice actors for parts two and three of that, including Peter Cullen.

I'm not saying Peter Cullen needs to be used in every project but if you're just going to get someone to do a straight imitation of him, then why not use him? (The answer is most likely budget-related)

Nah that won't be the case, if they did that they wouldn't be able to charge $800 for a Unicron sized Primus with cybertron mode exclusive in a couple years.

I think it looks decent. My main complaint is that they're just using unmodified Evergreen/Generations designs. It feels weird seeing a story that we're supposed to take seriously told with essentially toys. I'm not complaining that they're using a G1 look. I just want to see a bit more creative freedom. They could have kept an Evergreen-esque look, but made the designs more cinematic. They could have given them a unique aesthetic for this show, while still making them reminiscent of the toys. But they look too much like toys for my liking.

But for what it is, I think this is on the right track. It vaguely reminds me of the WFC and FOC cinematic trailers. Those blew me away as a teenager. If I were between the age of 12 - 17, I'd probably be blown away by this too. It looks like what Combiner Wars should have been. It's not bad art design for what it is. To a younger person this would probably look really cool and epic. And it looks enjoyable for adult fans too.

Like a lot of Evergreen-related stuff, I'll admit this isn't really my cup of tea. At this point I'm craving more creativity in the designs and aesthetics. I'm just not interested in seeing toy designs literally translated into 3D models. I love G1, but I want to see some reinterpreting, especially when it comes to fiction. Not my thing, but I think it looks fine for what they're going for.

Looks excellent on a visual level. Voice acting is hit and miss. Can’t wait to see it!
