backpack is pretty messy... the rubbery parts (for me, so far) are only problematic on the rectangular panels on the tail... the edges get caught against each other and to avoid long-term bending outward of the edges, I have gotten into the habit of trying to push them inward with a thumb nail as part of opening the tail

otherwise ive had no issues due to the material

 

I just fixed that by taking a knife and shaving a little bit off of those panels to allow for better clearance. Maybe not quite as pretty, but it's a minor detail and makes that part of transformation much easier.

 

I like his transformation, I dunno. And the rubbery parts give him a special tactile feeling no other toy has. It's nice.

 

It's not that bad really, least not in my opinion

 

Yeah, only the tail panels really bother me in regards to the rubber, but those spring-hinge neck pieces are a whole other level of annoying.

 

Those are definitely annoying, mainly because they break up the smoothness of the beast mode

 

It's been forever since I last transformed Megatron, but I remember the thigh chunks being awkward and a little scary to rotate down. That was very likely entirely my fault though, it definitely felt like I was doing something wrong.

 

I transform my Megatron alot and the real problem areas on mine are the pelvis hinge bits are real tight and all the rubber hinges like the tails side panels

 

Splitting the robot crotch scares the hell out of me. Fun figure otherwise.

I am probably the only one with this problem, but my Megatron refuses to cooperate in terms of his waist lock thingy. Both in the tabs on the side and separating the slider

Ark and Tracks, well Ark is now fully paid and just waiting for the delivery.

 

It's funny how Blackarachnia continues to always be too tall. It's like a law of the universe, or something.

OG Blackarachnia: Obviously too tall (and wrong in every other respect) due to being a Tarantulas repaint.

TM2 Blackarachnia: Waaaay too tall on account of being a Mega for some reason.

BM Blackarachnia: Somehow just about as tall as TM2 Blackarachnia and taller than pretty much every Mega BM figure despite being a Deluxe, because BM toy scale made no sense in any way ever.

Generations Blackarachnia: Retool of Animated Blackarachnia and thus way too tall

Kingdom Blackarachnia: Somehow taller than her fellow Deluxe class figures who should be taller than her, and towers over Rattrap who should be the same height.


At this point I guess we should just be thankful if the next Silverbolt isn't at BA's chest level again (although I guess Silverbolt wouldn't complain).

All the more reason to cross our fingers for a Voyager Silverbolt.

 

Although, knowing how things usually work out, I wouldn't be surprised if like 90% of the Voyager pricepoint budget ended up going towards giving him big articulated wings so that he ends up being barely any taller than Blackarachnia, if at all.

 

Wings, bulk and height. He'll be using every skerrick of his quota of Voyager class plastic for sure.
