I'm buying Paleotrex soon today but i want to ask this, since he is a partsformer how well does the torso work if you position the T-Rex skull frontside so it acts as his chest instead of back kibble?

 

It’s fine, the shoulders will be set back a little bit but it’s already strangely proportioned so you probably won’t even notice.

 

Just got my paleotrex figured out. didn't expect the arm cannon to severely shorten the arm so much. And those tiny feet are so fiddly and difficult to maintain   Almost need a action figure stand just to let it stand straight. I was following the stock photos for the transmutate repaint in right arm gun + left melee weapon stance

 

I found out that Paleotrex's tail saber to be too short to be weapon and one of the knock-off figures i have (a knockoff of the Sirtoys Star Team Dinobots i own a few) come with edged sabers/scimitars that work well for a evil skeleton warrior. "Watch out Optimus... i'm gonna sneak up behind you. Will i be a ally or foe? (His predacon plate is one the back)

 

Great job capturing Dinobot weighing his fate. He was without compare. He knew what the Golden Disc could do more than anyone else and Code of Hero was amazing.

 

Got Airazor today. Really trying hard to imagine her being retooled into Terrorsaur. They’d have to strip her down to just the skeleton of her upper torso. They’d might as well make a new figure entirely.

 

It doesn't look that hard to me. Switch the pidgeon head with the jurassic pidgeon tail, change the direction of the wings, place the jurassic pidgeon head on her butt and that's it. The legs can already be turned backwards, maybe a peg to hold them in place will be added cuz it could be very useful in that new transformation scheme.

Then you do a minor remold and bing, bang, boom, you got a prehistoric flying lizard.

 

Yeah. From toy reviews like Emgo316's, Airazor to Terrorsaur would be like Titans Returns Galvatron to Generations Selects Super Megatron, Combiner Wars Inferno to Ectotron, or Studio Series Jetfire to Ultimate X-Spanse. Sure, it might share a few pieces, but it would overall be a new figure. Also, the wings would be wrong. They need to face down in Robot Mode, not up like in Airazor's Robot Mode.

I can't see it. Especially the legs. Considering they have to be a certain way to make the "Biological Pteranodon" look, it probably wouldn't work as easily as that.

 

Maybe they can put a swivel joint or whatever on the wings so you can flip them 180 degrees.

 

The swivel in the wings is surely an option, but it would create several problema with the chest/tail and the dino head. My idea works perfectly, yet i should probably draw it to make it easier to understand... I'm not good at explaining things.

We don’t need 100% show accurate since the CGI magic took extreme creative liberties with Terrorsaur, but for the Kingdom figure I want this to look like Terrorsaur. Not an Airazor dressed up as Terrorsaur. This better be a really damn good retool.

 

It should be easy to do it right. If they take the old toy engineering as an example, then it's just a matter of good remolding

 

Though, for those complaining that "Paleotrex won't stand up", I have a feeling he isn't designed to stand on two legs. Even from the packaging art, he isn't standing straight up.

From the image you can see him lunging forward. I can see him not running standing up, but more crawling or galloping on all fours. Seriously, the forearms are made of the dinosaur legs. Of course we would lunge along the ground like a wild beast.

 

People have that issue? He stands up just fine for me and he can't look up enough to be in a crawling pose

 

His feet are ridicolously small...

 

Ditto. I have plenty of ideas, but I can't draw for scrap.
