I want to show off something. When i looked at the 2 cheetors we had one of them had a noticeable bright spot on the on the very edge on one of the shoulderpads... as if it was weakened.
Has anyone spotted this issue right in the box? I'm glad i avoided it.

I dont think big voyager would work. dinobot 2 was not only taller than tm megs but also bulkier, a tall voyager could not capture his height or his bulk.
i think cyclonus shows us the size limit of the mainline voyagers, with that in mind anyone larger than the original dinobot would be leader/commander.

tm megs, and dinobot 2 as leaders. And rampage, depth charge, tigerhawk, tm2 megs, and optimal optimus as commanders would be best i think

Again those were just the deluxe classes of wave 1, no voyagers, leaders, or even core classes.

But the probability of them actually doing that is pretty slim. Realistically, the accurate scale will probably get thrown out in favor of a more relative scale. Cheetor is a deluxe, if his upgrades come they'll probably be deluxe too etc etc. Currently there's 1 commander per year (with rumors of that number increasing to 2). You're talking 5 years worth of commander figures. It's more likely that they'd be leaders except Optimal Optimus who would be a commander.

 

Ik just saying its what they should be or rather what id like them to be. But like you said they would probably end up as leaders.
I really hope the 2 commander rumor is true tho, better chance of more larger characters being made.

While it'd be great if they got it all perfect, I'd also be ecstatic simply to finally get a TM2 Dinobot that's bigger than TM2 Blackarachnia, rather than the other way around.

 

To be honest, I don't want the TMIIs to be as spread out as they'd need to be for all five of those to be Commanders and I definitely wouldn't want to try and find a way to budget for them if, instead, they all came out close together.

TMII Megatron needs to be the same size as Optimal Optimus, whatever size that ends up being.

If it means his wings can be better articulated or can shoot straight compared to the original then sure.
The original shoots so wildly to the sides in the 10:30° and 13:30° angles if you know what i mean.

 

Not really, TM2 Megatron was smaller than Optimal Optimus both in height and build, and we've seen the vairance in sizes that both leader and commander class allow. Plus Tigerhawk was barely smaller than Megatron, so if Megatron has to be a commander then so does Tigerhawk and you have the same problem that I mentioned where you are creating years worth of commander figures that just aren't going to happen.

 

Even if that's true, you still have to deal with Megatron's wing span. They'd take up too much mass and wouldn't allow him to be a very large Leader, in terms of his humanoid body and I'm not paying Commander prices for an Optimal Optimus that technically has barely any extra mass than a small Leader with big wings.

 

Power of the Primes already gave us Optimal Optimus as a leader class. I don't think we need a new version. Maybe a re-release of the PotP mold instead?

 

Well the potp optimal optimus is a horrible mold, an absolute atrocity that was completely ruined by its gimmick. And to get all of its proper accessories and all of his alt modes you have to spend another 50 in upgrade kits. So in the end thats $100 on a leader class, thats more than a new commander class optimal optimus would be.

Plus even if the mold was good it is half the size he should be. i know hastak isnt going for exact scale, more relative scale, but potp opop does not have any sense of scale to the rest of the beasts at all.

So yeah we absolutely need a new optimal optimus at the commander scale, to get both his proper size and engineering
