Airrazor looks so good! Her bird mode is about as good as I think we could reasonably expect. And her bot mode is fantastic! I really don't mind the wings at all.

Dinobot's raptor hands are... Really ugly. Too big and flat for my liking, otherwise he's fantastic. That raptor head oozes with his personality to me.

 

Nope, a lot of people, myself included, thinks he looks hilariously shitty.

Like damn, I'd say Hasbro didn't even try, but they did. And that's kinda sad. All the R&D must've gone into the Beast Wars guys.

 

Even though I usually prefer Cybertronian and futuristic alt modes I like this one better than SIEGE UM - in BOTH modes. Except of the core bot. His torso looks hideous

Dinobot and Airazor look awesome in bot mode, but Dinobot's raptor mode really doesn't look great in that picture. It's way too bulky and it's the only beast mode so far to have pupils, which looks kinda weird. (I know he had them in the show, but this line isn't cartoon-purist.) Magnus looks like a worse version of Siege, but I wasn't going to buy it anyways.

 

Personally the weird problem with him that I have is that they've clearly remolded the shoulder pieces to be more show accurate but the pure blank blue on the left one without the autobot insignia is just off. Its like they wanted to put one there but they didn't.

 

That's just airrazor's hawk mode, nothing wrong there

 

I'm suprised nothng about the wave 2 cores have leaked yet, especially since rattrap and mini-prime were some of the first figures leaked

I'm torn on Magnus.

On one hand, he has his sick aviator shades which is the only real issue I had with the siege figure. On the other, yeah I already have the siege one and im basically completely happy with it besides that one nitpick.

I'll probably display one alongside Optimus and the other with Rodimus. If I even get him.

 

I was really looking forward to Dinobot's alt mode. I thought they'd go more for a Jurassic Park like design but this thing looks just horrible. Like dinosaurs from very old black and white movies.
Maybe it's just the eyes. But he's also missing his front teeth like SS 86 Grimlock and LOOK AT HIS FINGERS (alt mode)  
What is that? Did they use the hands of some old E.T. figure? They are so long and spindly and just droop down.
And they left out his scale pattern from the show.
So I'm really curious to see what customizers could do to him. If it helps painting his alt mode eyes more realistically or if it's even possible to replace his head with the one of another velociraptor figure. Then I might get him and do this, too.
But his robot mode looks reeeally good. Except of the missing paint apps on his lower legs and feet. And his tail as a weapon. But especially his head looks amazing. I really like the blue they used.

Dinobot looks awesome. I have some gripes with his alt mode but overall I think he's great. Magnus leaves me wondering if anyone would be willing to by him headless lol. He can't even compete with the siege one. That new head is all he's got going for him.

That's fine, I don't see a pred insignia anywhere on the actual figure, which I think is intentional. He's still going with my Maximals.
