Probably far too early for any news in that vein. That'd be for 2022, at least.

 

I've always liked the Quickstrike vs Dinobot thing that came up in two or three episodes because it works well for me - Dinobot's a Predacon and Quickstrike's a Maximal, and they quickly defected to the other side in the Beast Wars for battle-related reasons. But I do really wish we got some sort of Inferno vs Dinobot at some point. Same height, both have a propeller-thing, and were both Megatron's second-in-commands but with very different levels of loyalty.

My point being, if we get an Inferno in the future, I hope he'd work well in a battle display against Dinobot.

 

So the only 84-86 Decepticons left that could use the WFC upgrade are Buzzsaw, the Insecticons (all seven), Blitzwing, Octane, all the Combiner Teams (though since we have the Combiner Wars figures I don't see much of a point unless they just reuse them but incorporate the latest gimmick into the molds which doesn't seem worth getting imo and might mess with their ability to combine), and Trypticon (but again they've already done a good version of him in the last trilogy).

As for the Autobots we need Skids and the rest of the 84-86 Minibots (11 I think?), Blaster and the Cassettes, Perceptor, the rest of the Wreckers, etc. certainly a lot more than the Decepticons. Though Hasbro seems to realize this and has been bringing in 87 or later Decepticons (Scorponok, Snapdragon, Clones, Spinister, etc.) to help expand their ranks.

 

Today I pre-ordered Beast Megatron and Cheetor. Even stopped and thought about Rattrap and Primal, but while I think the toys look great, I'm not a fan of them, I always hated Rattrap and I still don't like the Gorilla. I'm not a fan of Cheetor either, but he's a cat, so that's a plus   I'm looking forward most to Beast Megatron, yesss.

I really love Rattrap's alt mode, but he was sooo obnoxious, I can't get over the fact. Did they show Dinobot? I need him as well.
