And I liked each one because of it
Finally, a win for the Decepticons
I bet you dont even own the G1 DVD collection because it seems youre talking out your ass. And those scale sheets were drawn years after the fact by Hasbro to satisfy annoying fans who had nothing better to do than ask "why is a plane bot the same size as a car bot" ? The same fans who are okay with a tape deck bot and a camera bot being the same size as a var bot. F**king stupid in my opinion. Sure theres a decent size of those fans who want voyager seekers. But theres also a decent size of fans who didnt give a s**t about oversized seekers. And the one fact we do know is that Redwings only apearance was in a botcon comic as a classics seeker mold. That is what it should be to go with the set. I dont think many non-botcon toy owners are pushing for this character. Hasbro is not going to do a Nacelle, Hotlink, or Bitstream. Yall will be lucky if you get a sunstorm which would have to go through e-hobby at a crazy price you would probably complain about, especially at a voyager price point. I could care less about the price, I just want to complete the set properly. Sad youre trying to shame me for wanting that. I know its a slim chance as I stated in my original post. But so far TF selects series doesnt have a lot of precedent to make predictions off of until we see the price. It might be the line of bringing back popular molds in wanted paint schemes. We may finally get G2 protectobots. And remember it was funpub that officially retired the classics seeker mold for their exclusives, not Hasbro or Takara.
You're rambling about irrelevant things, but are you seriously complaining because you can't get EVERY POSSIBLE obscure exclusive Seeker repaint in the same size class? Over the past 2 decades, it's been incredibly hard just to get the 3 original Seeker characters in one mold/size in ANY line, let alone all six. Redwing's going to be the wrong size for your collection? Cry me a river.
Um, do you know how animation studios work at all? Do you even know what style sheets and model sheets are? Please do your research.
Seekers are officially bigger than standard carbots in G1 fiction, and almost every other fiction too. They always have been. If you see different, it's an error. Open and shut. Just accept that.
What you prefer in your home collection is a whole other thing... that's up to you. But don't make absurd claims you can't back up.
Ugh, no one should ever use the Sunbow cartoon to judge "scale". There's just too many inconsistencies. I've been mostly pleased with:
Legends - Minibots, Cassettes
Small deluxe - Autocars
Large deluxe - trucks and vans
Voyagers - Seekers, triple changers, leaders, etc.
Leaders - Ultra Magnus, Jetfire, etc.
Commander - Omega Supreme, gestalts
Titans - City bots
By and large, Hasbro has most of the 84-86 characters released somewhere in the past 13 years in their appropriate scales. Kudos to them! And it looks like they're trying to fill in the remaining gaps in WFC.
But Hasbro has specifically said they were going to use cartoon scale for Siege. The scale chart is the only starting point we have and it is generally a good guide.
Sunbow had crazy animation errors but there was some guide in place that it tried to follow. Not everything was broken, lol.
Seriously, why don't they make this into a real arcade game. Do the same technique mortal kombat 1 used where they just make a bunch of triggerable video loops but use it with stop motion footage. I would play that shit.
With the improved articulation, this is not a farfetched proposal.
Is Redwing not going to be a Siege mold?
I missed a lot of this beneath the angry back and forths.
I don't think it's been concretely confirmed what mold Redwing is gonna be, but since Redwing is a seeker, we're all just assuming it'll use the Starscream Siege mold.
That's what I assumed too. I just saw the angry posts on how he wouldn't match the scale of others. I'll take any seekers I can get in the Siege mold / scale.
Yea man, plus you can cheat like a mf with after effects to get movements and poses you could never actually do in rl. I'm pretty sure they are already doing this in these videos.
Dude you aint backing up s**t but your own opinions and filling the page with stupid emojis. You avoided my question. How muchbof the G1 cartoon havevyou actually watched ? Do you own it ? Im guessing no.
Guys guys. What if, they did this with the flame toys figures?
I still love this Taiwan Transformer toy commericals. I wish there was a game app like this or a show to watch.
I didn't bother answering because I thought it was a pointless question considering my notorious geewunner status and vintage on this forum. Yes, I own all the US seasons of G1 (both the Rhino and the Shout editions). Between TV, VHS, online rips, and the DVDs, I've been watching them for 35 years.
I do not own Beast Wars, though.
Personally I'd be less interested but that's just me, I prefer the siege aesthetic.
