For people who are getting Ractonite, what's your opinion on the right arm? Are y'all team Mouth Arm or team Neck Arm?

yeah they ("Mouth arm or Skull Hand Killer Punch") both sound good to me & "Skull hand" might be a good configuration for those that are put off by a lack of a hand.

That's a good sign though I worry about how much the center of gravity changing when the skull is at the end of the arm will affect anything.

 

I'm too busy trying to figure out how to glue all these dudes together into a hell beast.

 

We'll probably have to wait for Wingfinger to be revealed before people can really start figuring out a good combined mode. It'd be cool if HasTak came up with something vaguely official.

 

All things considered it'll probably end up being the Takara Legends comics that do something like that. Seems to be their wheelhouse.

What'll be interesting is, given the flexibility of the components, if HasTak decide to do any sort of Selects figures that mix and match parts to build something new. Especially since, unlike the Modulators we've gotten before, these guys don't require arms to have hands or feet to look like feet.

The biggest thing point towards a situation like this is *both* have removable heads. Meaning either could peg in on any combination of new torso/arm/leg bits.

 

Are you counting Ractonite's Beast Mode head? I didn't think that his bot mode head was removable.

 

Unfortunately I only have one Paleotrex in hand but I can see the potential with even just two of them. At this rate I'm gonna end up with 3 of each Fossilizer: One as the character, one for Weapons/Armor, and one for a combiner.

 

I'm not planning to buy any Fossilizer but they're starting to look intersting..

What bothers me about using Rac's skull not as shoulder piece for Rac's bot mode is that it necessitates the use of him using his "hand peg" as a shoulder connector which looks like it would limit his elbow to go inward.

I am really curious as to how they will play into the mythology, but I suspect that we'll just see them "as is" in season 3 during the time jump/dimension crossover without any explanation of what they are or how they came about.

One rumor that I would love some confirmation or clarification on is that Beast Wars was supposed to be its own independent line, while the 86 figures were supposed to be in WFC. When the new movie got delayed, they flipped the script, putting 86 in SS to keep that line afloat, and putting the beast figures in their places in WFC. No idea if this rumor is actually true, but it would explain the lack of ports in the beast toys. However, it doesn't explain where the fossilizers come from.

 

Definitely gonna need this guy.
