Yeah it definitely does sound odd. I really like Kingdom Warpath, and the transformation (that I've done over ten times now) is just fun! To say it's "over engineered" just sounds ridiculous IMO. If someone doesn't understand it...they should just start slow, take it one step at a time (repeat some steps if need be), until they fully understand it. And the plastic (at least on my copy) feels good! I guess some people tend to forget that transformers are also puzzles. But Yes...if KD Warpath just gets yanked out of the box, gets man handled, and just mindlessly twisted around in all types of ways that it's not supposed to...it could definitely break! But if that's what people want to do...maybe WFC is not for them...maybe they should try Rescue Bots and or Cyberverse.

Cyclonus is f'n great. I hope there no shortcuts were taken on Galvatron's design.

In my personal opinion Optimus Primal is the best of wave 1, Megs is amazing yes but Primal just has so much going for him, essentially all legacy features are present in one way or another. It really turned out better than I could have imagined.

I can only imagine how great a modern Transmetal or Super Transmetal would be and I hope they go there.

 

Blackarachnia or Warpath. Hands down my favorite mainline releases I’ve gotten since the end of Siege (besides SS86 Hot Rod and Scourge).

Kingdom has been saved! Primal is fantastic and a thicc chonk of well-made magic. He makes up for Black Arachnia and Cheetor. My gosh, this is a solid figure with excellent detailing and paint apps. WOW.
