I can’t wait for mine to arrive. I love the wings. They’re beautiful.
The new Ravage is awesome! Such a great partial of Cheetor, it's almost a completely new figure! And he looks great with the rest of the Kingdom BW Predacons.
It's photos and poses like that which will make The Ark a future classic.
Once sold out and it gets harder to find, more and more collectors will realise it was actually a pretty cool figure and the prices and desirability will increase.
As well removing battle damage and some of the black paint on the shoulders and applying red Autobot Insigna's to that area, and adding a nice blue LED light kit (and possibly a light piping swap). A few minimal tweaks really push The Ark into being something else entirely when it comes to the aesthetics.
Some people will never regret skipping it (there are numerous toys with outrageous markups I still don't regret skipping) but, others will be in the "I wish I had paid MSRP instead of this outrageous markup but this is my life now" camp. I would have absolutely been in that camp if I had skipped it.
Man, the Ark looks so much nicer without all the smudge marks and battle damage. I know they were going for the whole burnt up on re-entry thing, but the cleaner look is way better

Did you gets yours from pulsecon?
I agree with all your sentiments, and really like your “Less is More” approach on your work there, @process.
I always actually kinda liked the battle damage ever since Siege came out. Not on every figure, but I’m cool with it. But I also totally get how it’s not popular.
I like how you’ve removed it on the Ark. Looks great!
I went with adding little details here and there, instead of a cleaner look.
If nothing else, I think we can all agree that his dark grey brow was a mistake to begin with. Haha
Looks way better with a more solid consistent color on his head.
Not this one, paid the ebay tax because I wasn't sure how stock would hold up at pulse, in hindsight I could have waited, but it is what it is
I think the only thing missing now are some better articulated hands, if only to make him look less dopey when standing around.
For what it's worth, the eyes are just photoshopped in at the moment, but I do have a blue LED eye kit on the way.
IMO, TFs usually look too 'clean' to just fleck on 'battle damage' and call it a day. Even if I liked battle damage, on the Ark in particular it more resembles an oil spill than what you'd expect from crashing into a mountain.
The Ark is absolutely a great platform for experimenting with, especially since it's not a well defined character or design. I'm most pleased with how the head turned out; I found the eyebrows to be very distracting and seemed to stretch the face too thin.
What sells me with the tigatron is that he comes with his gut and the proportions are borderline perfect.
Yea, he really is a great figure, granted I am biased, but still. He's awesome
At least... it wasn't my fault this time.
