Why doesn’t Rodimus have a neck? He is the reversed giraffe.
Tried to get close to show accurate arms and thighs.
I picked up a few JRC upgrades and got one for Megatron while I was at it.
Twins of Evil!!
The Matrix took Hot Rod's poppin' collars game to an entirely new level. Animation continuity is all over the place but, the earliest examples have the head/neck lower (like the Kingdom toy) so that the hood area that is mimicking the trapezoids looked bulkier (sort of like how The Hulk, Abomination, Juggernaut, Doomsday, Pitt, The Maxx, and other massive characters are drawn). TFTM and the third season have always felt/looked like hey we can have swole characters too (no shade).
Terrorsaur model worked on by @YamDraws on twitter, while Tigatron/Mutant Tigatron was worked on by @alwaysbumping on twitter.
Shadow Panther(SP)’s dimensions actually look closer to a puma than a leopard, so this actually works well. And melanistic puma’s have been reported…
I will say that his cat mode does look really good, largely because Cheetor’s beast mode looks good. I think even those who dislike the mould will agree it’s mainly the robot form they’re not keen on, that his beast -mode is pretty spot on. But because SP is essentially a recolouring of Cheetor he doesn’t really look like the species of cat he is meant to be. That’s put me off buying him, -I’m more inclined towards Ravage as my black panther (a jaguar in his case) and I’ll likely get him. (Hoping he becomes available here in the UK.)
SP would pass for a puma though. They share similarities with cheetahs although their shape isn’t quite the same. There is a lot to like about SP’s look in both modes. Liking these pictures… must….resist….
I got an email earlier today from Amazon telling me this guy and Sideswipe are ready to collect from the locker in town. (I’ll probably pick them up tomorrow. Technically today, since I’m writing this in the early hours of the morning.) I got it mainly for Sideswipe, and I’m not sure I’ll keep Skywarp yet, owning Airrazor, as I do. I will say his colours are great and the shoulder panels blend so much better with his bird mode. I understand why Airrazor’s are orange-to fit the colour scheme of her robot mode, but they do clash with the colour-scheme in alt-form.
Love that look. I don’t have the courage (or materials) to change the head, but if I ever get SP, I’d like to get those claws to differentiate him a bit more from Cheetor. More temptation to get him. Gnnnn….
I'm suprised how much I like him, especially since Cheetor was a little underwhelming. Are his feet painted silver, or are they cast in silver plastic?
Whyyyyyy univerzzze hatee waaaazpinaaatoor?
Arrived at one of my area targets like that. They marked it down to 10.99, but the area where the torso mushroom peg slides in looked cracked. Totally crazy.
I love stuff like this.
A lil late but do you have to remove Teletraan-1 when you transform The Ark?
I can't say this.enough. I love this Toy line. Kingdom with SS86 is golden treasure wrapped in happiness with a selects cherry on Top.
it can remain in place in both modes, but there is a risk of it sliding out during transformation.
and i don't think you can keep the crew on the bridge in robot mode.
He remains comfortably inside, if you’d prefer.
The Ark is a good toy with or without Teletraan inside. I do enjoy the scaled diorama of the bridge when he is inside though.
Meanwhile, Tracks is packin’ heat!!!
