    got this misassembly on mine.
the feet were flipped and swapped.
made the knees push their pegs out of the thighbone when bending, bending the knees the wrong way was much easier, and the feet/wing-hands didn't soft-lock the way they were supposed to.

but i managed to hammer the pins out and swap the feet, so mine's good now.

I take it you've used it before? This is the first year my college has used it and the first time I've used anything like it as we didn't have these kinds of things last time I was in college. It's pretty simple to use as long as the course instructor understands it, lol. My network security professor is having some issues adjusting to it.

That makes sense, since most of those Con's are millions of years old which means they were Megatron followers before planet Nebulos was any type of factor.

But for the sake of galaxy building my collection (in the present), I've omitted a lot of what happened in the Animated G1 movie and added parts of what transpired in the IDW-verse pt.1.

So Megatron is the main Decepticon leader with the most ranks, while other Tyrants throughout the galaxy (Galvatron = Chaar, Quintesson = Quintessa, Straxus = Darkmount, Nemesis Prime = Dead-verse, etc.) tend to fall in line. Some subgroups and factions having closer ties/relationships than others.

...I wish I had time to create a family tree type of chart breaking down the 300+ Decepticon's I have (minus the upgraded figures of the same characters).

Got Rodimus last night through a trade. Good trade or bad trade, IDK. I do know as far MSRP goes, I came up.
That back grey clip needs to be shaved down a bit cuz its a bee-otch to clip in and out.
His head seems like its too low.
The back wings don't clip in securely. Its mostly just pressure thats keeping it in place, but a slight nudge will knock it out.
Another issue I came across was that gap in the trailer. I did manage to fix it though after figuring out the issue. Did require some super glue, which I was against doing.
Anyways, not bad, but still seems overpriced.

Looks like they’re doing a little shimmie dance there.:p

Core Soundwave finally arrived yesterday after being postponed twice by Hasbro Pulse. Worth the wait, though, he is a nice little figure.

And is it weird that I love the fact he comes with that cute little Laserbeak cassette? It doesn’t even transform (which I wouldn't expect at that size and price-point) but it’s such a nice touch to include it.

Only criticism, like many have stated before: those feet in alt-mode. I understand that toys of this size and price point have limitations, but I really think they could have found a way of folding those away better. Yeah, I know. They’re speakers. o_O

It’s a small criticism, to be fair.

I was initially reluctant to buy core figures, but I’m glad I did. I originally did because I hoped they would fit well with the Ark… which they don’t, scale-wise as much as I’d hoped. I wouldn’t expect them to scale with the ship of that size, but I hoped there would be an open up play-set option zooming in on the command deck, etc. That’s okay, I think the Ark is still a nice looking thing and it does what it’s meant to do well, but I’m not going to buy it just yet.

I have ordered the reissue of ER Scorponok though, and he looks a much better fit for them in scale (I see his base mode as more a command centre than a city. A city really would be out of scale, larger than the Ark!) and of course the fact 3/4 of the core figures are decepticons!

I’ve yet to ship him from BBTS. Still waiting for those slowcoach seeker reissues to fly into stock. I’ll give em to the end of this month, I think.
