Wait what? No Tarantulas?? What's that wave for then? Is the line doing so well, that they feel the need to keep the shelves filled? Also, there haven't been more than 4 DLX figures per wave. 8 DLX figures seems a bit unrealistc. I think this rumour is not true in numbers, but it could be true for the repacks only  

I mean 3 Shadow Panthers? A repaint no one has any attachement to? That is definitely not true

 

Turantulas is legacy not kingdom. Wave 5 is really just a repack wave, the only new fig we know of is Voyager blaster.
And yes there are not more than 4 different deluxes in a wave, but a case of deluxes are 8 figures(usually 2 of each deluxe).
Ex. Wave 1 case assortment was
2x cheetor
2x blackarachnia
2x warpath
2x peleotrex
the case assortment for wave 5 deluxe are all repacks and are as i said
3x shadow panther(wave 4 repack)
3x waspinator(wave 4 repack)
1x huffer(wave 2 repack)
1x warpath(wave 1 repack)
Which adds up to a full case of 8 deluxe figures, the numbers are correct and make sense.
And its most likely true, it comes from jtprime17, a very reliable leaker, who has leaked multiple figures and accurate case assortments in the past.

 

The robot mode doesn’t look any better, either. Taller, but no more proportionate and they don’t blend in at all.

All these “upgrade” kits have the same problem of looking like really obviously tacked on pieces that don’t mesh with the rest of the toy. Like that silly Primal chest filler that sticks out more than the merger gap it’s meant to hide.

 

I still have a couple of holes in my upcoming-chart. Going by the WFC-K#s, I can guess that wave four deluxes must be:
-Shadow Panther WFC-K31
-Pipes WFC-K32
-Huffer WFC-K33
-Waspinator WFC-K34
Please correct me if wrong.

And wave 4 voyagers are:
-Tigatron WFC-K35
-and Blaster? or is there a repack with Tigatron and Blaster is wave 5?

Wave 4 deluxes are
Shadow panther
Pipes
Slammer(not huffer)
Waspinator.

Pretty sure blaster is still wave 5. Wave 4 is tigatron and i think starscream(ER repack).

 

Modded the shoulder add on I made with scraps a little more since yesterday , super snug and tight fit now .

 

Genuinely didn't think I'd be into this Primal deco, but the colours pop. It's a good if not simple look, the metallic teal makes it for me and the new faceplate is suitably menacing.



This one though, where to begin.. let's start with tremendous and finish with batshit crazy. I love that they've gone all out on homaging her original Beast Wars box art with the head and deco. It's on the right side of silly and again that metallic blue dry brush is gorgeous.

 

Oy that case could make for some warmers. 6 of 8 are of bad guys that notoriously warm. Same 6 are from the immediate previous wave. This in effect increases demand on Slammer and Pipes while eliminating ‘fomo’ on the preds.

I know they usually keep cases to 4-5 different figs but they’d be much better off going 2x, 2x, and 2x Tracks than the above. Going by preorders and shelves, G1 guys are still the biggest draw in these lines. Thus the Huff and Wp.

In general I agree, though I do admittedly like the Primal chest filler. Most of the kits geared towards increasing a figures height just don't work and they end up making the figure look janky in some way.
