You boys see this? He looks amazing:
I’d say it looks more like he went off his diet
Cyclonus - "What are you doing standing around? This is a battle! Get in there!"
Thrust - "I can't!"
Thrust - "Huffer used Maze of Ith on me! I've been removed from the battle!"
Huffer - "That's right! And you can't attack either because attacks have already been declared this turn!"
Cyclonus - "I'm not liking our new Magic The Gathering war rules!"
Huffer - "Could have been worse! I could have cast Fissure on him and destroyed him without a chance to regenerate!"
Cyclonus - "How could a fissure harm you? You can fly and would just fly out!"
Thrust - "I don't know, but Fissure can kill flying guys in Magic!"
When does he come out? Not soon enough, that's when.
The Kingdom one seems to be more posable with its butterfly shoulder joints and wrist articulation. Also, as far as I can remember you can't have T30 Rhinox have a waist swivel without making him incredibly backheavy. There's a few details on the previous Rhinox I wish this upcoming one would have (like the Maximal tampos on his forehead), but if the figure's as sturdy as Kingdom Primal on top of the better posability I'll go with Kingdom for sure.
I like how they did the cannon arms for Galvatron - it looks easily adjustable to different angles of fire instead of a fixed angle.
I know im not the first to see it but..... I cant unsee it
I just think the Kingdom one has more of a finished look to it, I think it's the flat tan and weirdly bright green on T30 that is throwing me off. The Takara one is darker, but that can't disguise how poor I felt this mold was. Seeing them side by side Kingdom looks like the Rhinox I knew and loved, T30 looks like his emaciated cousin. (I always hated the weird wasp-waist)
I guess because we don't get Beast Wars updates very often, I'm more picky?
It's been something like 20 years or more, yet i still CAN'T figure how is it possible that MTG Is a lot less mainstream than his official knock-off... Oh well, i'm gonna figure it out someday.
More poseable? Maybe. Better? Definitely not. I would gladly sacrifice shoulder and elbow joints several times in order to get a toy that matches the show as much as the takara t30 does... Also, he has a more realistic and more articulatied beast mode. So...
So, if you repeat his name three times Bumblebee magically appears in your living room? Or you just get a free insecticon?
When you've got a foam cutter, a few feet of foam, black & orange paint along with a few hours to kill, naturally you make an Autobot City diorama.
Yeah it's odd considering it turns thirty years old in two years.
Trailbreaker loves his Forcefield!
There's always time to go bananas makin' dioramas. Great stuff dood!
Let me understand... I'm really SO drunk right now, i can't even recognize a vintage MTG card? Fuck me, i really thought that was a yu-gi-oh card. I don't deserve to play my mono white Isochron Scepter/Orim's Chant nor my mono red shot anymore. My Akroma (both her red and white version) is feeling ashamed from my behavior.
I got Kingdom Cyclonus!
"Listen to me. NEVER. HOPE. Hope is a lie."
"G-get off of me."
Ah, so it is! Thank you for setting me straight. Makes me more okay with it.
(Although a Toyhax sticker of the G1 toy flame insignia would be great).
I don't know if there will ever be a Kingdom Tarantulas or Beast Inferno. But as soon as I see and get wave 4 Tigatron and Waspinator and Golden Disk Terrorsaur, that should be all for me to complete my Beast Wars team. I can just use the original Tarantulas and Inferno.
Looks like he's missing the paint on his arm panels, but he has nicer gold, and gold on his chest vs the yellow color on the T30 one.
I'm impressed with him, honestly. I recall one of the leaks said he had super chunky legs, but I like the overall shape of the rhino kibble on the Kingdom one more, because the T30 looks too curvy and similar to the modern Transformers cartoons with the overly thin waist, overly broad shoulders and too many curves. This one looks nice and balanced.
Arm panels, thighs, and sides of his chest, far as I can tell.
