Arcee + Hot Rod x Beast Megatron

 

Primal and Cyclonus arrived earlier and they are awesome! Primal is great and something I've wanted for a long time. I'm loving all these new beasts wars figures.

Cyclonus blows my mind with how awesome he is! I can't wait for Galvatron now though.

Never one to shy away from announcing himself, Warpath has entered the Kingdom in all his blazing glory. And he is just as fun, boisterous, and frustrating as his screen depiction. I really do like this figure overall, but I won’t deny it has a couple issues. But, they’re nothing that I can’t learn to live with.

Most glaring of these issues, at least IMO, is the shield piece. It works best in alt mode to finish the look of the tank. In bot mode, it feels superfluous and unnecessary, especially for a bot covered in armor plating. Unless Warpath is actually wielding it, there’s not really a good place to store it in bot mode. I can work with it though.


I don’t think the trend of the smaller Deluxe figures having big clown feet is going away any time soon. But they do make for a very stable figure. Warpath works them fairly well with some decent articulation. He’s got some good leg work, if you can get his legs to work.
Surely, most of you have seen how Warpath’s legs transform by now. They definitely take some getting used to. Overly complicated might be putting it mildly, but I think it’s mildly genius also. The way the panels fold into each other and the many twists and turns it takes to get everything tabbed together can be very finicky. But, I won’t argue with the end result in either mode. Warpath does look very cool.


And this is one damn fine tank mode. This is Warpath to me. If they can nail the tank mode like this, then I can deal with rest of it. Actually, I think this is a very fitting iteration of Warpath. Just like his portrayal on screen and the size of his personality, he just takes some getting used to. But I feel like this figure is worth it to have an accurate recreation of a tank and bot that looks this good.

When should we expect to see images of Galvatron? I'm really excited to see him, I don't know when the first wave were revealed though or how long there tends to be between reveals.

 

Wave 1 was announced back in September and is coming out now. Wave 2 was announced in December so they are probably going to come out in the Spring so March/April time, just to give you an idea of the timing.

Usually, the next big reveal event would be Toy fair in February where they would show off most of the line for the the year. However, since Toy Fair isn't happening this year, I would bet that there's going to be either a Fan First Friday or a HAScon type event next month so they can still stay on their release schedule.

How long does it usually take CMD to ship to the US? I got a shipping notification Tuesday but no information shows up with the tracking number.

 

dont know why but i just realized i hope in later waves of kingdom, we get a g1 figure of shadow striker. with cyberverse and new IDW shes edging her way closer to being a more prominent core decepticon and it struck me how great it wopuld be to have a modern version of her to add to my WFC g1 con set. i did used to think if adding a female to the classic con crew, it would be nightbird, but SS might be perfect for that.

 

i'd like a 'G1' version of her, flamewar that's not a con exclusive, and lockdown for pretty much all the same reasons.

i was hoping cyberverse deluxe would have put one out since she was prominent in the series but it doesn't seem that way.

 

same, im very surprised both shadow striker and windblade, both prominent in cyberverse, didnt get those treatments

 

Well we already know the entire kingdom line (minus selects) and that character is not coming

 

slipstream too. she was the main antagonist when the show started.

 

we cant know the whole line yet, we havent even seen all the beast warriors yet? and who knows what others have yet to be revealed

 

The entire line has been leaked for some time.

here is a list of the mainline plus selects we know through leaks. Commander is rodimus prime and titan is the ark plus the two leaked amazon packs( earth sideswipe+BW grimlock, earth mirage+bw 2 skwwarp) and the walgreens exclusive earth red alert and that is just about the entire kingdom line.

Just picked up my 1st of the Kingdom line. Got my hands on Core class Prime, Vertebreak, and Rattrap. Boy are they guys amazing!!

Now if we could please get a mini trailer for Prime!!!
