PULSE sent me an email last week that my Cyclonus was ready to ship early and to make sure my CC info was right, and since then...NOTHING has happened. They are teasing the crap out of me right now, and all these great pics are not helping...ugh!

That shows up my video game, I turn off the game and watch cartoons...big NOPE for me.

 

The first one is a great film. A classic.
Second is good.
3rd is eh. Directed by the guy who did seven and fight club.

Rest are not good.

If you time-traveled to the past, gave H.R. Giger a bunch of Calvin and Hobbes comic strips about dinosaurs, and told him to design a Predacon, this is what he would have made.

Loving the more g1 cartoon accurate head sculpt and lack of “battle damage”

 

Really enjoying this guy. Fun to handle and pose. Other than the soft rubber having a slight curl at the edges in some spots where the panels meet he is great and fits togethergood. Dont see how they could have done much better other than color choices.

 

I'm not a Magnus fan in general, but that's a really nice figure.

 

One more thing I might add to preempt some further confusion down the line is that there are some characters--most of whom don't appear in the show--that are accepted as their G1 selves. G1 Ironhide, Prowl, and Silverbolt, for instance, received BW figures in the form of a combiner called Magnaboss. Not all are like this though--BW Scourge and G1 Scourge for example are two different bots entirely. TFWiki.net does a good job going into more detail about who's who, but if you're only watching the show and not digging as much into the off screen toys, there's not a ton to sort through.

Hope this helps if you ever feel like digging a little deeper into the characters and lore. There's a lot of cool stuff to find there, but the show stands on its own pretty good too

I own Siege Magnus, but man this one looks good. I'll probably get him so I can have an Albino Optimus and a Ultra Magnus. The lack of bird shit is also a plus.

 

The Beast Wars characters ARE NOT G1 CHARACTERS. They are separate!

 

Alien is like Terminator, the first two are equally perfect and amazing, and we all collectively pretend the sequels and/or prequels don't exist.

 

I think a deeper purple would have been nice but I’m not complaining. Barney looks pretty damn good.

Now all we need is a slug in baby bop green...

 

Kingdom Magnus does look better than the siege version to me, but I feel like the improvement is more akin to Earthrise Megatron vs the siege version rather than Earthrise Optimus vs the siege version. If they’d extended the thighs I think the proportions would be a lot better in both robot modes, and then they could’ve completely reworked the hands to have them fold in and then maybe look a little less bulky and more natural (maybe a finger joint, I dunno). I know there’s budget and all that, but I would’ve taken a bit less subtle surface retooling if it meant the overall proportions and vehicle mode could’ve been much better.
