I know but was saying it would be a nice way to get more variation into the line.
I think Beast Wars should get there own subline in Generations since WFC is G1 and Studio Series is Movies.
I agree. Personally, I think Beast Wars should get its own line that REPLACES Studio Series and the Generations header is thrown to Unicron Trilogy updates after WFC III. I say Studio Series gets replaced because they are powering through figures to the point now were we have All of Movie 1, almost all of 2 and 3, Some of 4 and the TLK toys still mostly hold up.
hell tlk toys have been part of studio series, so im inclined to agree
What is coming after Cyberverse, isn't this the last season?
Either something replaces the shelf space or the TF section gets smaller?
I agree with the UT as we have seen the figures here and there show up. I’m not disagreeing on beast wars happening as I do agree everyone needs their time in the light but after studio series does all the main casts of each movie, then sure. I mean where else can you go. Unless a new movie comes out?
are those toys worth it though? I’ve been holding out for a hound and crosshairs and have looked at the older figures but was always on the fence that if I pulled the trigger, SS releases would happen. It happened with 07 bee to me.
Terrible idea keep studio series going with the new movies coming
I’m sure a new cartoon would get announced at the very least. Cyberverse is the true main line after all.
Yeah, there has been a couple, also the holes are very small as well. Heres what is left (also things we can assume are coming are left out like the rest of the wreckers and constructicons)
-Rest of the Dinobots
I would Disagree, if you want your studio series style figures, then they can just have a deluxe style line or through it in with generations and not have anthor line clogging the shelfs.
cyberverses toyline could continue another year without a cartoon (its been done before) while e-one works on whatever show its going to do
hound was decent, plus considering the studio series dreds, cogman, and thundercracker/ksi boss were molds pulled from the tlk line i wouldnt really expect any tlk figures to get new molds
not really. its a media tie in line sure, but it consistently gets less shelf space and is barely covered at conventions. plus generations is the line that has been running without interruption for 10 years, and has had media of its own (comics, prime wars trilogy cartoon, netflix cartoon). so while cyberverse is an important piece of the franchise (being the media tie in line geared towards young kids) id hardly call it the main line. the media line hasnt been the "main line" since prime ended
Well with the rumoured BW movie they will likely slot into the SS line
Awesome as it would be to see a BW centered line we have to remember that Hasbro doesn't have much faith in any non G1 TF era enough to warrant given them their own line nowadays. I mean we're lucky enough to even get guys like Cybertron Optimus Prime and Cybertron Hot Shot in Generations at all let alone in both WFC and Selects. Sure we're getting a BW movie later on and trust me I'm happy about that but even then I'm not sure if it'll be enough for them to have confidence to start giving out more BW content on that level. Which is why I'm hoping that we'll at least see the major BW cast in WFC3 but even then it doesn't feel likely. I'm praying I'd be wrong on all counts.
As for SS I doubt it'd be going away anytime soon since the line'e starting to get into more of the BB cast if the leeks and rumors as well as BB Blitzwing and Cliffjumper are anything to go by especially when later movies will have more characters for SS to make including the before mentioned BW movie.
That actually seems like the course of action.
oh that’s right. Never made the connection. I guess I’ll look at those figures again. Thanks.
really? I know generations is meant to be more so a collectors line. Always thought media line was main. It makes sense what you’re saying though.
Studio series is already in the generations line so it's not going anywhere
I dunno a Micromaster 2-pack route would leave the trailer that bit spartan still IMO.
I really think we might see some more stuff designed to in there somehow, mainly because my experimentation with prior weaponizers like Cog have proven those 5mm ports in there aren't situated in the best place for them, especially when it comes to stowage.
In particular the pair of ports on the trailer underside that are perfectly positioned for where the old blue stabiliser legs were on the G1 trailer, and some stabiliser subs of some form would be really handy as, at least on my copy, I find the additional weight of Weaponizer attachments starts the sides sagging in base mode without any extra support.
Let's keep the focus on Earthrise
Likelihood of Sideswipe/Red Alert rereleased in ER using Sunstreaker mold? I’m hoping,I had so many Countach posters as a teen in the 80s!
Why would they use the Sunstreaker mold?
the liklihood is 0%, sideswipe and red alert look nothing like sunstreaker in bot mode. if anything they would just get rereleases of their siege mold with rooftops painted on like the reprolabels
If we're going to see more reuses of the ER Sunstreaker mold it'll likely be his original Diaclone versions such as Spin-Out and Cordon in Selects. Likewise with Siege sideswipe with his multiple Diaclone repaints.
