They saw that they could get away with it when they made Siege Shockwave a Leader class so now they're doing the same with with Legends scale characters being charged as Deluxe.

It's not really that hard to guess what goes on in those HasTak board meeting for sales and marketing..... Remove Legends class figures for a year boosting the demand, then raise the price for the characters in question the following year. The quality might be a little better but I'm still not that pleased with paying $20 for legit Deluxe scaled figures and as a result I doubt I'll be buying as many Earthrise toys as I did Siege. Especially if it's 30% of the same characters we got in Siege.

He should be a big smaller. =/

I believe Hasbro said that a Bumblebee redeco/retool won't come from ER Cliffjumper. But ER CJ does share elements with a traditional Bimblebee disign, so maybe the ER Bumblebee will still share a few parts and some engineering with him.

Don't know what Devastator has to do with Micromasters, but the TR Combiner boxed sets retailed for $100 freedom bucks. No way they'd start retailing for half that when prices are getting higher. Plus, I'd think that Constructicons in the unified scale might actually be a tad larger than TR Deluxes. Maybe Siege Ironhide height.

I really dig that prediction. I doubt they'll release Runabout at retail unfortunately though, he'll probably be in Selects. But that list would sell me in a heartbeat.

You're probably right. I'd prefer both at retail to make them easier to obtain, but Selects Runabout is more likely.

I hope we get a few wild card characters, post 86 guys, maybe weaoinizer actionmasters, a weaponizer rac'nruin. because just seeing jazz and bumblebee and so on and so forth is a bit boring if I put my two cents in

They might be referring to the Micromaster Combiner Devastator.

For me, those characters are boring because I have no attachment to them.

Yea well when you see the same 30 characters over and over and over and over you kinda want variety and how do you gain attachment to those characters exactly? You buy the toy and learn about the character gaining attachments to them. Just saying

Oh. That makes sense. If it means we get an accurate Sixbuilder, then I'm all for it. =D

I'm not going to be needing another G1-looking Optimus, Cliffjumper, Wheeljack, Starscream, etc once I get the Earth Rise versions. I held off on nearly the entirety of the last trilogy (except for POTP Starscream - big mistake) hoping we'd get something like this.

So I'm into WFC hoping they'll follow through with the rest of that cast. Other characters are fine but I'm not bothered one way or the other, outside of special cases like Lockdown.

Beast Wars revival would be nice, but I can wait.

Here's what I meant. Devastator (Universe Micromaster) - Transformers Wiki
He should be leader sized when you put six micromasters together and you add a dash of partsforming.
But, if they were to make an WFC Devastator with six deluxe constructicons I think you're right in terms of scale.

i wouldnt mind seeing some more battlemasters like Nightstick and Fracas. i mean they already have Blowpipe and Firebolt/whatever he is called now.

maybe either selects or takara exclusive Artfire, if, and i think we will, get Inferno.
Lockdown would be a good character to see in my eyes since they have bought out Galaxy Force/Cybertron Prime.

i wouldnt mind seeing more non-G1 characters in the WFC trilogy but i feel like they will focus more on G1 characters for Earthrise, but im still looking forward to see whats in store.

Oh man you're so right! I love the concept of the Micromaster combiners!
If we were getting some now is the time we'd see them, let's not lose hope!

This isn't speculation as much as it is a wishful thonk, but considering how Micromaster bases and roads will be the theme, it would be the PERFECT time for our almighty hero of the Unicron trilogy to get a fig... I'm, of course, talking about..... SIGNAL LANCER!!! Perfect as a battlemaster! retool of Smashdown into a traffic light that can hold the handlestaff in his arms! Come on Hasbro, MAKE IT HAPPEN!!

Retool the staff so it has 5mm nubbins on both sides and he can be mounted on a Deluxe baseformer!

    +1 for Signal Lancer! \o/

I think Bumper or Hubcap are more likely from Cliffjumper. I hope it’s Bumper because he has interesting obscure recolors for Selects and is the 1984 character least likely to get a figure any time soon.

I think Hot Rod is also likely in there.

He’s on a TON of the Earthrise trading cards and I bet Hasbro might space out Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime between WFC2 and 3.

Oh I agree that Bumper and Hubcap is more likely to share Cliffjumper's mold, but I'd also place a wager that Bumblebee and his redecos will share engineering and maybe a few parts with ol' CJ.

I do hope Bumper and Hubcap get new figures though, I loves me some obscure boys.

I recall catz stating that Star Saber, and the Japanese Generation 1 Combiners are not in the Earthrise toy line.
