It's certainly a daunting concept, especially with how deeply set into the "helmet" her face is. I personally think the white face w/ lips is a good initial goal to reach if you're unsure, though I would avoid pure red paints to avoid staining issues. It's perfectly okay to return to a project at a later date once you feel you're able to reach your desired goal.

I got lucky in that I was able to easily split Arcee's head, so I didn't have to worry about the eyes, but I know this figure is otherwise notoriously difficult to have her head removed. Apart from that, it's a matter of thin coats for the face (primarily due to the overall smoothness not providing much agency for the paint to begin with), then not overdoing the smaller details (the lips were a single coat).

I strongly disagree. I hate Earthrise Streaker. Mismatched yellows and his arms/legs don't look anything like how they are supposed to if they are aiming for G1 accuracy like the rest of the line. To me he looks like he came straight from the Combiner Wars line.

This all on me though. I'm glad you like him.

I really like the set! I especially like Ratchet's robot mode, but jeez, the alt mode... look, we're already being asked to ignore a lot of visible robot here, please don't make the feet a different and much brighter color.
