Wow, all look good, and I’m especially thrilled with Cliffy. Not having a chibby alt is great. Wish we could see better how he scales with the other deluxes in both modes.

 

Something I noticed. They are not using your typical Tamashii flight stands and I didn't see any type of 5mm port on the bottom of Starscream's alt mode. I wonder if it's just deep inside that chest cavity and we can't see it.

 

I dunno.....I'm kinda disappointed. My initial thoughts are I may skip some. They are all nice figures.....just not as fresh/different as Siege was.

Soo.....the new battlemasters are shields/ramp or base connectors/robots?? Doesnt seem as fun as them being guns.

 

Looks like it might be a Cerebros-style double Headmaster, hmm...perhaps Zarak forms the head of Fasttrack and Fasttrack forms Scorp's head?

 

so I gotta go run some errands and I can't praise these figures as much as they deserve at the moment BUT-

Earth Rise, This is one of the best first waves I've ever seen. I love them all. This might end up being my favorite line ever.

Super hyped for Bumblebee, Jazz, Earth-mode Siege guys, Seeker repaints, and whatever else comes next!

 

I see they've decided against giving Moist his pantaloon legs.

 

There are some great characters, and I know these are the hand painted prototypes in most cases, so I will hold most of my judgement, but I gotta say I really wanted a Cybertron Wheeljack...but Cliffjumper looks great, Hoist has potential and Grapple is a 100% hit! Starscream being an upgraded and upsized Classics mold is very tempting, and I am glad I didn't go in on all seven seekers in Siege, just the classic 3, so if I do bite on these, not as much out of pocket. Still no interest in the Micromasters, but Ironworks...love that idea! Tempted to see Scorponok too!

Would be nice, but I doubt it. Probably the only roller they had around the office when they were planning the diorama. Either that or they were being tongue and cheek about having a roller already out.

 

Oof, those gaps. Not feeling the proportions on this guy at all.

Wheeljack is surely just mistransformed like Hoist, right? they wouldn't just leave out his wings for no reason?

We have that "Wandering" Roller...which only comes with UW Grand Galvatron set. Strange they would put it there since he was a Takara only release. Doubt they would re-release him 4 toy lines later.

I love the Classics one too! Such am innovative toy! This one looks fantastic too!

 

That screamer will be purrfect for seige jetfire.. Cartoon correct rather than the tetra Jet form seige.
