I can take absolutely zero credit for this amazing Skorp configuration, as I saw it on FB (apologies I don't recall the creator) but WOW it's awesome!

TBF, I don't dislike ER Optimus Prime at all. The OP figure itself is fine, has some good features and was probably one of the best mainline Optimus figure we would ever got in a while.

But for the intended MSRP price point, I just think the trailer was lacking and could've been a lot better; Especially when having the trailer in-hand, the trailer just feels small.

I think YellowCorvette means it does the bare minimum to get the job done. It would have been nice to have a trailer a bit larger with more of the blue console stuff and roller. Like the G1 basically.

    ——-
Edit- as they explained themselves above. I started this waffle post before they posted that.
    ——-
Personally I really liked ER Optimus. The main figure itself is smashing, possibly my favourite Optimus Prime figure aside from MP-10*, and I think I prefer the smaller scale of ER. While I’d have liked a bit more from the trailer, it was fine. (Of course if I didn’t have MP-10, maybe the smaller size and lack of features would bother me more.) And they did do something that even the MP-10 didn’t do by making the trailers fold up robot (what is I actually called?) detachable so you can fit it on Prime’s back like a separate automated weapons platform. It looks a bit silly, but it’s a nice feature.

*I own three Optimus Primes; MP-10, Siege and Earthrise. I actually like them all in different ways, so picking a favourite isn’t easy. MP-10 has a nice big size and all the features. ER robot is an almost perfect voyager sized rendition, close, but possibly improving on the original G1 toy. (Blasphemy?) Siege has a great different, yet pretty faithful look from the front (back looks weird) and has the better looking weapons, I think. A more alien looking cybertronian vehicle mode may have been nicer, but they may have had to change the sculpt more dramatically for that, and I think they wanted him identifiable in robot mode with the G1. I guess the Siege Leader Ultra Magnus retooled version works in providing a more alternate cybertronian look, both cab-bot and armoured up, but his vehicle looks a bit too much like a fire engine for me. I regret not picking it up a bit, though. He’s not G1 at all but he has an interesting look.

ER Starscream isn't quite as much fun to fiddle with as Siege Starscream, but he certainly is a good looking bot in borh modes.

Well done @Robots78, I'll be picking up a set for Ratchet for sure!
Thank you again. He looks sooooooo much more appropriate for an ER Ironhide now.

I'm a bit disappointed in Sunstreaker - the mis-matched yellows are one thing, but he's also woefully under-accessorized. No gun, no missiles (or even a missile-hand, like what trailbreaker comes with), and no spoiler. There's even a place to attach the spoiler, and yet, still doesn't come with it. It's almost as if Hasbro said "Nah, it's too much, take the spoiler out."

I didn't have time for pictures but I just got Skorponok and I gotta say, he's pretty awesome. Only got to transform him to each mode once but I can see myself enjoying him a lot in the future.

For anyone who missed out on Wave 2 at retail as Wave 3 randomly appeared. Aldi's are getting a case or two! (Screen, Arcee, Airwave, Allicon)

It seemed a little goofy to me, but iirc, you can take off his engine block and it splits into two ... um... "guns" I gave him a real one from another ER carbot, but I have some stuff coming today from nonnef that will remedy the situation :D

Got him!! What a cool mold. Shocking how compact that car mode gets—he even fits in the Earthrise trailer! Excited to mess with this and get him posed with the boys later.

How do wishlists even work? I've never used them.
I always found it to be boring when I was a kid. But maybe it's just me being more of a cartoon fan as a kid.
Yeah, wasn't exactly happy when that happened to push Roberts murderhobo pets.

Force Fields are an amazing force multiplier. Any character can be the super strong bad ass. It's the guy who's power helps his friends I can respect more, and there's a reason half the season one and two episodes saw either Hound or Trailbreaker save the day. I think it's given me a lasting love of the two characters. They were like playing the Uno reverse trap card of the G1 Cartoon.

I did pass on grabbing Trailbreaker this morning, and didn't tell my mom to put him on my Christmas list, but I'll probably try and pick him up in the future if I get a chance.
So the wave I have all of, or will when a friend can get me that Smokescreen he grabbed me for Christmas.

Did grab Blast Master and Fuzor because I'm too much a sucker for space alt modes, and plan to do a massive rocketbase if I ever figure out where I'm putting it. Do more on that later when I can take some pics.
