I can see why the gap fillers for the stomachs for the Datsuns are a thing now. They wouldn't interfere with transformation either.

Usually I'd say Smokescreen, but once again in US ChUG his deco is highly lacking.

for me, Bluestreak wins this round, Prowl's nice (super clean looking), but still fairly under detailed (especially in car mode) and has BS's head.

both of them shame Smokescreen with their painted taillights though, man he just looks completely unfinished.

Son of a b*tch, are those ever clear plastic knee joints (nervous because ER Prowl looks awesome and I am def getting one, but DAMN)

I mean I just heard about the TR Mindwipe rubber thing taking a recent turn for the worse

The joints are pretty robust, but who knows what the longevity on them will be.
For now, I am happy to have them.

If Amazon does follow through with Core OP next Monday, then is Earthrise officially done then? Of course there's the various exclusives, GS, and figures shuttled into Netflix line.

Some people have noted issues with the rubber weakening the plastic. On ours, we had part of a hinge break cleanly off doing normal movements / transformation. I was able to epoxy it back on (and it's staying on), but that was annoying.

So my copy of bluestreak has the knee while my smokescreen does not. Without a knee though smokescreen's joint at the knee is more tighter and stable.

It seems that since bluestreak has the roof tab so the roof of bluestreak is more seamless compared to smokescreen.

    YMMV

In a world of limited funds I'm continually telling myself I DONT need Prowl and Bluestreak, that my Siege versions of both characters are just FINE. Like at this point 85% of my toy purchases this year has been buying new versions of the exact same toys I bought last year! I have ER Smokescreen, I have ER Barricade on preorder, and I just put my funds instead to securing Trailbreaker and Sunstreaker...I dont need Datsuns, I dont need Datsuns, someone please help me out here, lol!

Quick picture (why do my iPhone 11 photos look so shitty....). The Trailbreaker / Hoist mold is probably one of the top 5 molds of the entire WFC era. Those characters were overlooked for years with weird or bad molds while other 1984/1985 Autobots got pretty good entries. And now we got the most definitive CHUG-level release we're ever to likely need or want. It's incredible we got a toy so accurate to a cartoon that came out 35 years ago that has such a good trasnformation scheme and look. It's also incredible what we accepted as a Deluxe just a few years ago. I know they were cheaper ($15 vs 20), but the price increase was absolutely worth it. There is nothing of value in those older molds anymore.

One question though... what's the "correct" arm to put Trailbreaker's cannon on?

All in all, he's tremendous, and in my view better than Hoist.
