I’d love to see someone mod/adapt those shields to better act as sleds like the original toys, with proper treads or wheels underneath, and a little more room. Maybe something could be added to the back of the shield to hide the feet better and give it that extra spot on the front. Maybe I’ll try something after my Ironhide arrives this week.

Greasepit came in last week and I had fun combining him with Airwave. I like how the final look came out. I think their color schemes blend very well.

The execution for this kit is too rough for me to buy (color mismatch, paint quality, subpar 3d print quality).

They are different sizes, but going Siege head on ER body the difference in negligible. The ER head is too loose on the siege body though so the swap really only works one way. The siege head is tight but it spins smoothly and doesn’t interfere with transformation so there’s really no risk in breakage

Ok I thought I'd take a serious minute for helping anyone still confused about the whole open knee thing with the ER Datson mold.

I have both versions Bluestreak is "open" knee and Smokescreen is not.

Look at the clear plastic on Bluestreak. You can see the red knee is exposed and open.

On Smokescreen the painted clear plastic (red) is a straight line across obscuring some of the white at the knee joint swivel. He is "closed" knee.

On the roof of Bluestreak you can see two clear tabs hanging down that go into those gaps.

Smokescreen does not have these tabs.

My prowl is open knee and the other two are closed. There’s really not much discernible difference in vehicle mode tightness, all 3 compress pretty well

 

I to haven't noticed any difference between them. Others have reported issues keeping the alt mode together tightly but both of mine seem fine.

 

Yea, like there’s some play in the roofs on all of mine, but not much

 

The bottom of the feet are rounded, so, it's doesn't really stand well.

 

Kind of funny I got prowl be for the other 2 brothers! Well let’s hope I find Bluestreak soon & smokescreen is on its way now! Also came in a Amazon bag & not like the cone heads that had the shipping info right on the box!
