Anyone ordering Earthrise Arcee from Kapow Toys actually got her?
Let's show some love for Earthrise's most poseable 'bot!
"But quit the macho bit, eh? It just doesn't suit you."

I tighten ER Optimus Prime's ball joint head with tissues because Optimus's ball joint head is super loose.
Is it okay?
I would like to point out that this picture contains no flight stands or modeling supports at all.
Fantastic toy. It’s about time we got a super accurate looking Arcee. Generations Arcee is great and all but this one looks far better.
Ok, question about Doubledealer since I'm thinking of getting one. Are the loose arms a problem on nearly every copy of the figure, or is it something that not every figure has?
I personally havent noticed “looseness” but i believe there is a screw maybe that could be tightened. Id have to look at my copy later.

Thanks! Let me know when you do
Red Dwarf: Quarantine! Kudos!
There's also a Japanese story where Primacron speculates they evolved from some bacteria after he didn't clean up after an experiment... While on trial in front of the quints. He still got away, and went out to travel the multiverse.
And now I'm expecting at some point we're gonna get a version of Primacron based on Rick Sanchez.
And there's whatever was going on in GI Joe vs The Transformers with Diakron, and I think the Quintessons were higher dimensional beings. Which actually fits with one of the meanings for "Quintessence" and them and Primacron being fallen higher dimensional beings as a resualt of Unicron and Primus battle could be neat.
Overcharges. Giant Robo squid.
Got to admit, September was expensive for me, finally getting my dream transformer with Scorponok, and breaking and buying Sky Lynx. And I have no regrets. Well at least when I nabbed DoubleDealer, he was on sale at Gamestop for 35$. But this line has just blown it out of the water. Even my impulse buys like Ironworks and Grapple have just been so great. Heck Soundbarrier is just too much fun for what he is, and that's a freaking ramp.
Ahhhh, I was waiting for someone to get that. My favorite episode, especially the opening!
My copy is fine.
The arms on my copy have been working just fine. You gotta watch out for the legs and hips on him too. Those can be a bit rag dolly.
It does the job but....
1) it's temporary
2) the paper will break down with wear
3) it is abrasive, so will end up making the head looser in time
4) you can see the paper stick out.
Recommendation: Get some floor polish or some clear coat (model paint, I use Tamiya) and that will be a smoother finish, that shouldn't do any damage and can be redone as needed. Just make sure that it's dry first, so with floor polish, should you just ad a drop or two in a joint, just move it a few time in the first 24-48 hours to not end up with making the joint "stuck". Just wipe the excess off right away.
Note that if it "sticks", using a bit of pressure will be fine, but if a small piece, it might not handle any pressure and could break, so it's a precaution to do that moving the parts around during the drying time. Done right, there's no risk at all and give you a nice "as good as/better than new" tightness.
Edit (additional info): Note that I will recommend floor polish and clear coat as both are neutral (the polish being an acrylic) and do not chemically bond to the plastic. Some people swear by super glue, but I don't. Glue does bond and chemically change the plastic, and depending on the plastic's composition, and while it could be fine it could cause a change, possibly weaken it.
How bad are we talking? Can he hold himself up? Also, how wide spread it this?
Never stored in a box, tell me I’m not alone
He can still stand just fine and hold a pose. But with my copy and others I’ve seen, he tends to lean back slightly when standing in a static pose. I always thought the legs being just a bit loose was more common than the arms issue.
Also, rag dolly may have been a bit of an over exaggeration. Sorry.
All good, man. Thanks for the heads up
Is it in the hips of the knees?
