*Sigh* this could've been a beautiful Nemesis Prime repaint.

It took a month before EMS sent these two to me . Optimus and Hoist.

Though I haven't got to opening the latter I would like to air some of my gripes on Prime.

Over all, an outstanding modern take of him this side of MP 44. Once you go MP 44, you can't go back  . Easily Hb/Takara's most ambitious mass produced Convoy/Prime, I really miss the pre unification way of selling the products.

If this was a purely Takara release of yesteryears, we would have been treated to a slightly different plastic. Also, what the hecks was with the half ass paint on his back helmet? And the lack of a painted neck to break the red monotony ( though MP-01 also lacked a definitive neck). No rooflight paint (yet the painted box images heavily featured it) and his dull as grey drone. At least painted it's canopy (reprolabels ahoy!). Last but not the least, no Roller! Shades of MP04 aka not perfect Convoy  .

P.S. I added those decals from my Ocean Designs PotP decal set.

Aside from those rants.................Awesome modern update.  His head isn't a straight recycle from the Siege version. There is a variation to it when compared closesly to the latter.

 

Now that Sleep Mode Prime has been confirmed, can we all have a moment of silence for the trailer? Everyone seems to forget that the trailer also gave it's life...

 

 

I guess once he left the trailer behind to go fight Megs the other decepticons gave it what for.

I did a preorder just now through EB games. They said a release date of June 15. So looks like things are picking up

 

Ya I just picked it up in person at their warehouse, first time buying from them. But like I told the other guy, they definitely have it. Now how long shipping will take who knows, I ordered something from oldnavy that's been sitting in a Toronto sorting facility for almost two weeks..

Are these Prototype images? Just asking because some of her parts are not painted. Other then that I think she's a good looking figure and I am more then happy to add her to my collection..!!

Edit: Does anyone know if the Earthrise 2 pack with Thundercracker and Skywarp is only going to be available oversea's or will it be coming to the stores here in the states?

Dead Prime, not Nemesis, and this is likely a planned SDCC exclusive, which means it likely had a bit of a higher budget
