Well I was planning on skipping the base builder type guys (Baserizers? Builderizers?) on account of none of the non-cassette micromasters interesting me.
However thanks to my local Savers thrift store, I now own an absolute mess of Armada minicons. So, yeah.

There better be enough base builders to make a good sized base without having to buy multiples. Or Scorponok.
Not that I'm skipping Scorponok, I haven't decided yet. I just don't wanna have to, you know?

 

much like a real world base I imagine you are going to have to buy multiple of the same character to make a convincing base, most bases are a series of redundant structures, sorry.

Exactly! I think Trypticon, Fort Max and Omega out of the Titans make the most sense for being a HQ/hub to build on; Metroplex makes no sense  .

Nope, according to John Warden, the inclusion of a waist joint made the figure look odd (I think he said ugly).

Me too. I skipped Ironworks when I preordered my Earthrise figures. And then I started thinking about him, often. And there were pictures everywhere. And ...well, I totally caved within 48 hours and ordered him when I realized the little bases would also be fun for Prime Masters and Titan Masters and Battlemasters and any other little dudes. I can't wait to see who's next, and I hope there are lots of them. I think the concept would be fun for Teletraan I or Mainframe.

I have no idea, but I imagine budget going up if they were to resolve the waist articulation in an aesthetically pleasing way.

 

This would be a good opportunity to release a 2 pack of just Fortress and Zarak without their huge bodies. It would be nice to have the newer leaders of the Autobots and Decepticons without paying so much.

 

I'd rather shrunken Fort Max and Scorponok with a new alt mode for Max. Their heads would look too generic on their own, and their head modes would be pointless.
