Just got my OP and despite some colors problems (grey inner legs and eyes) he is absolutely awesome. I consider him a mini MP for sure. The trailer on the other hand is very poor...But hey! It's a trailer! Anyhow...I'm customizing a G1 trailer for him and now he looks like the king of the road.

 

Finally found the deluxes, all impressive. My Wheeljack has some sloppy paint on the hood, a paint chip on the front bumper, and his mask has a paint chip like he’s whistling or something.

Just the splash of color Prime’s trailer needed. This is a great little toy. So much versatility in such a small package.

So comparing the scale of the new skylynx using the shot with prime vs Emgo siege prime in his Inventa Magma review the earthrise one looks to be about an inch shorter to the start of neck and a little shorter in the neck/head. So maybe 2 inches shorter fully upright which means the Earthrise skylynx should look ok up against the POTP Predaking, if not quite right. Against feral rex or any 15" combiner should be perfect. Obviously apples to pears as one is £200 compared to £75 but for chug collectors who couldnt get/afford the MMC (which I think is more chug than masterpiece in its size) this really is a good skylynx (hopefully not all wings are as floppy as the review version and you are able to actually pose your figures because the reviewer cant  )

I will take a picture of my Inventa, POTP Predaking and Jetfire for comparison a bit later

Cliffjumper is a really nice, high quality figure. I'm slowly warming up to the idea of $20 Legends Class figures of this ilk.

Random thought: Isn't Cliffjumper just a combination of Brawn (Short stature, Belligerent) and Ironhide (Coloring, Fiestiness)?

KuBianBao made an excellent trailer for their downsized Voyager Class MP-10 (MP-10V) that would most likely work with Earthrise Optimus Prime.

It's an exact replica of MP-10's trailer but downsized to Voyager size:

Honest questions: What type of modification is needed? Are the mods extensive?

Well crap. I guess my thinking was in the right place.

 

removing the stock trailer hitch and either attaching a 5mm peg into a hole left by removing the hitch or drilling a new hole closer to the edge and attaching a 5mm peg there. if using the hold left by the stock hitch then the trailer sits too close to the cab and cant turn. so not super extensive mods, but it also doesnt work right out of the box either

 

Not sure if this is the right spot to put this but you can use the thrilling 30 commander class Optimus Prime’s roller with the Earthrise trailer.
