i for one am looking forward to getting cliffjumper in hand and am pretty curious about how he sizes relative to the old legends class minibots. we didnt really get a good look at his bot mode side by side with any of the other deluxes at nycc

So, something I appreciate? Ironworks. It's a friggin' brilliant way to get Micromaster bases by utilizing the weaponizer gimmick. Only mild problem I might have is, all my CHUG stuff is in robot mode. Do I keep him in robot mode, or transform him to base mode for my Micromasters to play on? :D  I know, I know. Tiny violin and all that. :p

Because we know that there will never be G1 reissue Megatron. If our only ER Megatron was a Battlemaster... Just no I don't even want to think about that.

Whoa. Whoa. Only? No. I thought the card game pretty much tipped an Earthrise Blitzwing retooled as an armored up Megatron/Super Megatron homage.

I was picturing the Battle Master take as one of two.

If you buy 2 cakes, you can have one and eat the other.

It looks like they are at the same height because the WFCS Optimus is further in the distance.

Sidenote: I can't decide on whether to buy Leader Astrotrain, WFCER Optimus Prime, or Studio Series Overload. Any advice?

Siege OP is still an amazing figure so I hardly need another one, especially when I don't like grey hand/yellow eyes on ER.

    I don't collect SS.
Astrotrain doesn't look much for a Leader class but it's still a fun toy and a great addition to decepticon forces. I'm definitely picking him.

You mean debate that somewhat derails a thread and has absolutely nothing to do with the spirit of the thread altogether?
    Yep.

So if this is accurate it would put him in line with the MP Optimus Prime size and the MP Cars, which would be pretty cool.

I think Earthrise Optimus is going to be the exact same height as Siege Optimus. They've confirmed that they're using the Sunbow scale charts to set a unified scale for the Generations line from now on, so Optimus can't be a different height than himself. This also means that Cliffjumper should end up around Legends scale in Earthrise.

So I would be totally fine with ER Optimus being the same size as his Siege counterpart, but if he is in fact bigger (by .4 inches) it still would perfectly fit in with the scale chart. The scale chart is more of a guide not a hard rule.
