Except that Overair is Autobot (Japan-G1 "canon immigrant") while Airwave is Decepticon... score another Gibbs-slap for Warden.

 

and one of the marvel guys even said immediately after that while the intent is to not do the losers of the current marvel fan vote, that could change if disney/marvel says they want a figure of one of those characters

overair is the japanese g1 version of airwave and was faction swapped to be an autobot

 

I found Earthrise figures today!! Walked into a store, no expectations and saw boxes of the new characters. I could only get a couple so I dived on Cliffjumper and Wheeljack (no sign of Prime or Starscream). It was hard to leave the others behind knowing the risk that I may not come across some of them so easily again. Ironworks looks pretty good in the box. Hoist I'm sorry!! Grapple has real presence with his size. Still, this is the first time ever I've owned either of these iconic characters, can't complain about my choice.

 

yeah I saw that in my research of the old figures. Not gonna stop me from reswapping the factions though. Also overair in the 10 pack is an autobot so it’s not totally wrong. They did the same jg1 name swap with the repainted battle patrol too iirc.

Anyone got any idea when Earthrise Sky Lynx could be possibly be available for purchase?

I'll be a bit more selective at what figures I would bought from Earthrise, but Earthrise Sky Lynx are the one that I'm quite excited about the most.

I've been told by my collector store they were working on the preorders and they will be up in a few moments yesterday. But nothing.

 

for me, im just gonna say airwave kidnapped overair and the green jet from the 10 pack and is forcing them to work with the cons (like some of the minicons in armada) or that overair and the green jet are double agents

 

Oooooo that’s good. Might headcanon this to a degree. I need to write my shelf headcanon down somewhere. The story has been getting convoluted lol.
