Just to confirm, before I spend any more time going nuts tonight:

Snapdragon in dragon mode, doesn't have any of his par8t snap into place, right?

Just soft placement tabs that kinda ooze in any out?

Referring to the black panel (robot chest) that comes down over the tail, and the white belly panel that is supposed to snap into the aforementioned black panel.

I've pushed, squeezed, wiggled and compressed for over an hour now, and it just falls right out of place.

This is how it goes?

Not sure what you mean by that.

The video shows the steps I'm referring to, but no indication of it clicking or hard tabbing in.

Just pressing it into place and then moving on.

 

Oh okay. I usually use maybe nail polish or a little super glue which I don't recommend. Better use a little nail polish on the tab

Yes, that’s quite common with debit cards. The payment doesn’t always appear on the account until a day or two later, unlike a bank transfer which can appear instantly.

 

Netflix Nemesis Prime looks pretty slick.





None of his equipment seems to want to be socketed into the inside of the trailer except the blaster that he shares with Siege Optimus Prime, and you can't really put any of it on the outside of the truck, either!

Sad-face! You can, however, close the trailer with everything crammed inside, and it works decently well as a table from which he can choose equipment!



Despite very loose ports all across the black plastic parts of his body, you can still get him to carry everything around in robot mode. The sword pegging into his forearm won't stay there without modification.



Looks great, though, and I will post a bit more of him later!

I am worried about nail polish because of the solvent. Is white glue (Polyvinyl acetate) okay for this? And yeah, super glue (cyanoacrylate) dries into very rigid structures that will probably scratch the plastic in the sockets very easily. Having it on your fingers is a horrible feeling, but with fine sand paper it is removed fairly quickly.

Did you get it off that Canadian site? Or are they appearing elsewhere now?

 

From people I heard from other blogs, Toy Snowman is a very reliable store. No problems at all, very good communication and no problems with refunds. One person from another blog mentioned that the only problem he will predict with this store is if they can fulfill the Conehead orders.

I love Nemesis Prime. I agree that the weapons storage is a bit of a nuisance, from the POV of pegging into place. You can tell that most of the weapons were designed for another figure from another line altogether, although they work pretty well with this version.

Interesting thing about storage in the trailer is that there was a time until very recently when pretty much everything had to be stored loosely! I got the MP10V trailer for my Earthrise Optimus Prime a couple of months ago, ( I don’t hate the one he comes with, but it’s rather too small*) and while I really it, and having all that extra space, I find myself missing the ports of my Earthrise trailer.

* I’m not sure I’d recommend the MP10V trailer in the end. It’s nice quality -a nice solid thing - but actually a bit too large for ER Prime. I went from way too small to a bit too large. It will also take a bit of work to connect properly as the attachments are incompatible, but that should be an interesting project. Don’t get me wrong, it is a nice thing to have. The base is certainly an improvement.

 

I hope all goes well. Will be on the look out for them still till then. If I end up with an extra set I'll sell it to a board member for cost. This set has been ridiculous to get!

I wonder if it makes problems for people in the US \ MX to order from a site in CA. Customs or whatever?

Same, I will probably preorder more than one of this set if it shows up again (opportunity allowing) and pass them on to board buds w\o a markup if I end up with 2. Same with Skywarp (except I plan to keep the Battle Masters from the 2nd set)

 

Soundwave got a new minion (or 2) in today, just wish someone would get around to doing Buzzsaw. Love the tape dudes and wish there were more
