That's a pretty tangential similarity when the rest of the toy doesn't resemble the TM transformation at all. It's not even like the thighs or internal structure could be reused, since it's not just the thighs but the whole rear end of the T. Rex minus the tail that opens on the TM design.

I don't see it myself. There would be nothing shared between the two bodies, and again the transformation is entirely different.

 

Maybe I will ask a rookie question and from a figure who is already 20 years old.  

Although this Tigatron is a repaint of Ravage, and does not have a change of mold, but if it replaces the sticker on the chest, from Megatron to the spark of Tigatron... then, what word is given to a figure which changes are of stickers?

 

Speaking of Tigatron, something that just occurred to me, I wonder if the head for this guy was ripped straight from the rumored and as yet unseen Kingdom Tigatron. It is rather tiger-like.

 

Fair enough. I guess I was just thinking too much about potential mold reuses for everyone.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was given that funny enough Ravage's head was just Tigatron's beast head colored like a Jaguar's in the actual show. So it'd poetic when you think about it.

Speaking of Tigatron some people have brought up the idea that the Tigatron that's part of the Golden Disk Collection could be actually the Botcon Transmetal Tigatron repainted/retooled from Ravage which is actually pretty possible now that I think of it since the mold to make it possible is here now.

 

Not likely considering Tigatron is supposed to be a voyager and larger than cheetor

The original BW Ravage that was only sold in Japan is better than this(except for the head). But that is rare and was never sold in the US, so I'm glad this is coming out and will get it. I just wish the legs looked better.

Originally it was going to be an SDCC exclusive, but since Hasbro can’t predict an ongoing pandemic… everything that was planned for SDCC has been moved to Pulse Con

 

Really hope they handle this like they did the Quintesson 5 pack and make more if these sell out quickly.

 

I'm not a fan of that show or its main characters but there are some exceptions to the rule.

At one point I would have said no but considering that we have gotten frikking Ravage of all things, everything is possible now.

(Then again, it makes the decision of turning Skywarp into an Airazor repaint that doesn't combine even more baffling).
