Which makes me wonder why they simply didn't re-use Kingdom Cheetor's tail. I guess I can appreciate the extra effort of making a new tail but is almost unnecessary.

This is the most impressed I’ve been with Hasbro since the Pit of Judgment set. This is ultimate fan service. I just rewatched the three part BW Agenda arc, and this is very spot on, leg kibble on back aside. I’ve been a BW MP guy and have been voiding the Kingdom figures, but this is absolutely, 100%, a must have. Packaging it with G1 Ravage is perfection.

As an aside, TM Rattrap was such a complete badass in part 3, we really need to see that silly model also realized in a new figure.

I have that toy, I even like that toy... or some aspects of it like how sleek and thin the cheetah form is. But the giant hunchback even Quasimodo would say is overdoing it in robot mode, how can you turn a blind eye to that???

The question is, then how did some guy in China found it on the toy shelves of some store? Surely Hasbro would not release it before PulseCon. They have this little control over their factories???

He's really a cool figure but he has little tiny silver baby feeties.
I wish they had done the claw feet like in the toon!
Hope a third party can make a cool set of new cat shoes for him

Another thing to consider with Ravage here is that like the other Kingdom figures, this isn't the Ravage from the Beast Wars show.

    He's a Multiverse Ravage. :)

I seen pics of that fake Ravage, man, he has ridiculous thunderthighs. And the whole chest looks... plastic-y? Like, hard to explain, it reminds me of this fake Darth Vader toy I had. It has detail, but it seems less molded and more scratched into it. Does that even transform into anything, btw?

Yeah the trans metal wave pretty much stabilized the Energon deposits. Hence staying in beast mode for such a long time was no longer necessary.

I like this. I really do.

However... depending how much this is I might go with Transart for a better animal mode.

Ah, here, I have found it translated. Yes, the weird human-like dude with the mustache is General Jaguar aka G1 Ravage, and the one based on the toy is his son, also called Ravage.
Unlike in the cartoon, apparently the Predacons and Maximals were still fighting when Primal and Megatron left, and they just signed a peace treaty. Primal got communication that the war is over, and G1 Ravage was to be sent as an emissary to "Energoa", but his son murders him and all his troops to take his place. He is your typical crazy manga/anime villain thinking everyone is guilty and he can redeem them by killing them. I need to look it up online whether I can find the rest of this series.

Eh, is this the excuse people are gonna go with now that they can't say "these figures actually represent the netflix show" now that they obviously don't?

The characters are supposed to represent the source material, that's why they exist in the first place. Any excuse about the toys representing their own continuiity is just that: an excuse, and technically it applies to even the original BW and G1 toys as the tech specs always presented us with a very different continuity than the actual show. Not trying to knock you but at the end of the day this excuse will never mean much.

Correct. The continuity where Ravage is the McD’s toy:

I think it might be possible for a 3rd party company to make a claw foot with 3 toes that collapse together into a point so they still fit into the leg gaps for alt mode. Switching them would require punching out the ankle pins though and 3rd party companies usually avoid replacement parts for pieces that need more advanced disassembly

If Matrix Workshop is the one to make new claw shoes/tabis for Ravage, maybe they can make an articulated tail for him too out of the engineering they used for their SS86 Gnaw/Sharkticon upgrade?

Animated doesn't necessarily represent G1 despite of G1 being heavily its source material, neither does Prime, nor Cyberverse.

    Kingdom BW is the same.
