Speaking as a G1 fan myself, everything before Siege has been a tease. Not counted as G1 in the slightest. I have so many holes that require plugging.

I wholeheartedly agree that non-G1 fans aren't getting their fair shake. I just don't agree of the sentiment that the G1 line should be replaced to achieve said fair shake. Give us additional lines, that's all I'm asking.

It's fair to feel that way, everyone is different, however, I really can't see why honestly, as a G1 fan who's gotten sick of it. Is it the animation model thing? Because this still isn't that. Personally, and I can only speak myself, I have no interest in another Prowl, another Sideswipe, another Hound, another Starscream, or Soundwave. I have versions of all of them (except Hound) that I'm very happy with. And now I just feel alienated by Hasbro's direction.

Gimme a Clocker, a Sideburn or an Armada Blur over Sixgun or Prowl any day.

Or, do it all in one line. Stop treating non-G1 as simply other, and bring it all together. There are enough beast-form characters from different franchises to fill a line. Dinobots, Deathsaurus, Victory Leo, Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Horrorcons, Beast Pretenders...

Stick them all in one line and that way there's something for everyone.

Cybertron Scourge remold from Deathsaurus and RID Megatron as well. I think the best, maybe only chance is once SS is done they replace it when an update line for something else. Doubt it though, given that they didn't even send out a tweet for the anniversaries of other lines.

That would be neat. Anthology-style, like how CHUG was a few times before. Except more true to their original designs(or new even iterations sometimes alongside the characters' accurate offerings)

That right there is the dream, I just saw a picture of legends Cosmos with the Requiem Blaster and thought "What a good combination, wouldn't that be cool a deluxe Cosmos with the Space Minicons thrown in?"

Exactly. The line is called Generations after all. But at the moment, it's not living up to its name.

Why can’t the art in the comics look this good?

Because it probably takes as long to do one of these as it does to do an entire comic page :p

Yeah I get that. I have no problems with Hasbro still wanting to do G1 figures and I get why. I just wish that G1 isn't the only thing Hasbro gives us. But like I said that can change.

While I appreciate your optimism, I have the funpub versions and I dont like them. I didn't like that mold as Tracks either. The Takara versions are too tampographed for me, and again I don't like that mold as the battlechargers. I want a dedicated mold.

Imagine a Siege styled Prime Predaking (They would use the name Stormreign instead; so they don't confuse people, and to keep the trademark on the name.)

They could always call him in his Japanese name Dragotron too.

    Let's see:

GNAW - I've got the Takara Legends version, there are plenty of TR ones about, and I'm interested in the forthcoming Warrior Cybertron version. I'm good. Pass.

SHRAPNEL - Give me Venom, Ransack and Barrage instead. Pass

RUNAMOK/RUNAMUCK - Right, we get 'Runamok', and Runabout's probably going to turn out to be some expensive, awkward to get hold of exclusive. We've seen that trick before.

We need them both, not one, and maybe the other. If you're lucky. Pass

NEEDLENOSE - The last time this guy had a retail toy was about 30 years ago, and only one official exclusive. Plus, he's a Double Targetmaster. This guy - and his pals, get my vote.

I miss the Dreamwave comics. They managed to put out a g1 ongoing, armada ongoing, a beast wars series, two War Within series, and a Transformers Universe series. All had comparable art. They had an AMAZING crew working on these. Yes, management sucked hard, but these comics were Transformers comic perfection IMO.

Gonna hard disagree with ya there fam. IDW 1.0 is my jam but to each their own. I have heard good things about their Armada and Energon comics though I do enjoy this art though.

dreamwave didnt do a beast wars series, they did a free comic book day story and also had their profile books book ended by bw megatron in the hall of records. the gathering from idw is a modified version of the bw series that dreamwave had planned
