It's a nice idea, and I'd support any sort of Inhumanoids revival, but to get the appropriate gravitas for Tendril, D'Compose and Metlar I really think you'd need them to be no smaller than Commander class. Any smaller and you kind of rob them of their USP, and risk burying the franchise before it's resurected.

I know, big Inhumanoids passion. Forgive me.

Do we have any information on what Earthrise Wave 4 consists of yet? I expect Thrust, Soundwave, and Bee but I haven't seen any listings aside from Thrust.

Soundwave is probably part of it. An earth-mode version of him was leaked alongside Cyclonus and Thrust, and Thrust is confirmed to be Earthrise, it stands to reason the production line they came from was producing them all at once for Wave 4.

 

While weaponiser Waspinator would be pretty cool ngl, I don't think him being one of the fossilisers would make much, cause with the name fossilisers you would expect them to be...well fossils. Other than that weaponiser style Waspinator would be awesome.

 

I'd totally agree, but for some of the hints I've seen those 'in the know' drop. I could be misreading those hints, but I'd guess Hasbro just aren't feeling like they need to be too literal with the title?

 

With the beast theme happening, this would be a perfect time to give us Fangry, Squeezeplay, Horribull, deluxe insecticons and a Titan Monstructor.

 

Well if BW is happening prepare for more partsforming.....but its ok as its faithful to the originals right

Was never keen on BW personally, it does deserve some love as its part of the history but there is so much more before it that always gets missed like the japanese line, G2 (apart from the odd repaint), the european line, micromaster transports, the micro carriers that go with Sky Garry, the bigger microbases. With whats happened so far I was optimistic that it would finally happen......then this BW rumour pops up and screws it totally.

 

I'm not really a BW guy either (I dislike most of the designs because of the technorganic aspect, but that's neither here nor there). That said, I'm glad this is coming for a few reasons:
1: As much as I love G1, I think it's time for another line to get some love.
2: The Fossilizers sound awesome.
3: Because I won't be getting most of the line (save Primal, Megatron, and probably the Fossilizers), I have a chance to save up some money for the next line (or maybe the PS5, who knows).

 

I had to wait through all these season 1 and season 2 figures because it looked like it would finally lead to some good characters getting made... but looks like with rumors, 2020 is going to continue. This is the dream that was supposed to happen. G1 never came and yet everyone is complaining there’s too much.

Eh Waspinator as a “Fossilizor” could work as a silent nod to all the times he was blown into pieces over the 3 seasons.

 

For the titan, as I stated in the titan speculation thread, I thunk Metroplex gained some points. For the commander, while a part of me can't help but think of Deathsaurus with his cool mechanical beast mode, an even bigger part notices that with no deluxe, voyager or leader Optimus in sight, a commander class Powermaster Optimus Prime would nicely fill the required Optimus quota.

 

SS86 is my guess.

 

Agreed especially on Monstructor who'd be a perfect Titan figure for Kingdom since from what we've heard there's no BW Commander and Titan figures. As for commander Deszaras would fit in nicely due to him being both a major G1 character in Victory and having a beast mode to fit into the beast theme.

 

Yeah, I think Deathsaurus as the Commander and Monstructor as the Titan, would be a good "compromise/best of both worlds." You keep with the beast theme and give G1 people figures that haven't been done. I'm sure story wise you could easily retcon them in. Another alternative going forward could be Leader Deathsaurus and transmetal Megatron sharing a mold, and have the commander be Magnaboss or Tripredicus.
