I would like to get into the will-they, won't-they. I think they'll get together in Season 4 and just be happy. We are talking about Killing Eve, right?

You'd hope they'd have figured out how to make gold plastic by now that doesn't decompose like a crisp packet in a volcano, and yet...

On a similar note, I'm stunned they've never done a mass-retail Generations Clench, he seems like a no-brainer retool given all the big truckbots we've had over the years, but nothing so far...

So, downscaling a Generations Combiner into a set of 4 Legends and 1 Deluxe is quite good although it will need the necessary accessories such as weapons, combiner parts, etc. Makes me think this is just a Leader/Ultra Class Combiner to make things interesting. I mean it's nice idea of getting into smaller sizes to fit smaller shelf spaces. I mean, Bandai went to that direction with Kiramager right now. Ever seen how small Kiramaizin is compare to KishiryuOh? It's quite remarkable that they're probably working on something massive in the future of that season.

Now, I kinda feel Galaxy Shuttle can be retooled from WFC Astrotrain, while Landcross (I just can't shake that combiner off my mind right now partly because no 3P had ever done one let alone Has/Tak) can be made from six Legends Class figures sold in Deluxe price due to the weapon and combiner parts needed.
I can also think Road Caesar again, can use the Combiner ports despite Blacker will have a unique mold for a Deluxe to have ports for the legs. I can pretty think about a Jalguar made from that concept.

Now comes this problem... If we ever get Monsructor/Dinoking... I kinda feel it's going to be retools of Volcanicus with exception because they'll be excluding the member who became Grimstone in Power Core Combiners.

Yeah he needs a new figure for sure. As do the other Predators and Turbomasters. We keep getting close to the 90s stuff then go back to the ark crew etc everytime.....but knowing my luck they will jump and go to BW :(

An awesome pairing, would certainly be cool to see the two biggest size classes interact more.

Yeah, as eager as I am to get to eras besides G1, the 90's characters deserve some modern representation. Thunder Clash and Clench seem perfect for the current trend among Leader figures too, with their transforming trailers and all...

I agree this is the best opportunity to do them. Some of the micromasters being released are from the 90s so im being optimistic but wont hold my breath.

Personally, I'd love to get a Pyro in WFC, especially since they've been giving us a few wreckers a year lately

Id love that too. Still holding out for Roadbuster.

Rotorstorm has been rumoured but not sure if they are doing it cause of Wreckers affiliation or pathing the way for the Turbomasters......its most likely the former though.

I'm honestly not even sure they're intentionally doing wreckers, especially since so many characters have been wreckers throughout the franchise, but since titans return we have gotten
    topspin (tr)
    twintwist (tr)
    broadside (tr)
    inferno (potp)
    impactor (siege)
    springer (siege)
    hot shot (selects)
    hubcap (leaked selects)
    rotorstorm (rumored selects)
    rack'n'ruin (cyberverse)

That's 10 characters that have been wreckers at one point or another in the franchise in the last 3 or 4 years. Would just be nice to see it continue

Yeah thats very true but most of those are main stay wreckers.

Tr Kup falls in there too.

So out of the main stays the only ones missing are Roadbuster, Whirl, Ironfist, Pyro.

I see the misconception is still floating around that just making the plastic gold causes it to shatter into dust which really makes no sense.

GPS is caused by the metallic flake added to certain plastics, off the top of my head I can't spew the exact reasoning. Of course Hasbro typically only put the metallic flaking in metallic colors like gold or silver. You'll note GPS was never limited to gold, other figures with that metallic swirl like BW Megatron and many others have GPS too. Gold is just most famous for it.

Then Hasbro realized that if they want to make any characters who are gold or whatever other metal color they just had to give up what they were doing with the special flaking stuff. See Combiner Wars G2 Slingshot who is almost totally gold plastic and is just as sturdy as his teammates.

So gold characters are totally fair game moving forward, GPS is too far entrenched in the fandom as a name but it's unfortunate that it leads people to thinking literally just dying the plastic a certain color makes it fall apart.
