Can confirm, still waiting on my Hotlink ordered in February which now apparently has a ship date of August first after my second conversation with customer service.

That's fair, but take the netflix line for example, both Hasbro Asia and Takara are releasing them. Takara will also be releasing Gigawatt (though that one isn't truly a walmart exclusive). I'm honestly not sure how the UK works, I know you guys do tend to get screwed over on figures, but exclusives don't automatically mean they don't get released in other countries

    Well, yeah.

Because at the time they thought people would be going to stores. And I agree it sucks, but at the same time the whole idea of store exclusives is to get you to go to the store for other things while you're getting your toy.

Now that fewer people are going to stores, Walmart *hopefully* adjusts distribution to ensure online orders can be fulfilled because that's where a bulk of their business is going to be coming from as the US heads towards another round of lockdowns.

Hasbro doesn’t pick anyone, they shop out toylines and of a company is interested they get an exclusive figure or toyline.

Without doing this all the exclusives from everywhere would either never be made or only a handful dripped out every year.

Oh for fucks sake Hasbro. I\'d rather 100 pulse exclusives that last for 3 minutes than another Walmart Exclusive... Unless Walmart gets there shit together, I\'ll be good.

This is just another nail in the coffin for me. I’m sick of it. The online shit either gets snagged by scalper bots, misdelivered by FedEx, or never shipped at all. And there are so many scalpers in the DC area it’s a constant fight of scalpers vs collectors. I’m getting off the Generations train after WFC 3 and never looking back.

Ughghghg, exclusives are so stressful!!!  On one hand, I totally sweat getting the ones I want.  On the other hand, the exclusives that bomb crowd out everything else - I never once saw a Siege Jetfire on a shelf anywhere in Austin...

Trying to remain sane during unrelenting refreshes on a preorder screen demands calm. Jager is more my choice for parting.

Yeah, exclusives are a bi**h to get.  Never saw a Seige Jetfire or the 35th Anniversary figures in the Walmarts near me.  Ended up ordering Jetfire online.  I see in people\'s toy hunts all the 35th figures clogging up all the shelves in their areas.  More than likely I would just order them online.

We never saw Ratchet in the UK. There are a lot of things that dont come here and if you can source them you have to pay through the nose. Ratchet case in point was like 80+ on ebay before shipping.

We do get the short end of it here.

My worry with all of these Walmart exclusives on shelves is that we get a repeat of what happened during Universe 1.0. Walmart had so many exclusives clogging shelves, a lot of planned toys were canceled, some forever (RIP Halloween Horrorcons).

Ya I just googled them, if/when hasbro brings beast war characters back it would be cool if they did exclusives such as those.

I know the press release specifically says WFC Trilogy, but it would be nice if they released some more G1 reissues, like say Blaster's cassettes or more minibots.
