They got Walmart and Walgreens confused

 

Heh. You have the opposite problem that I did. Out of all the Walmarts near me this year, only one of them had G2 Grimlock because the Toxitron Leaders were the first things from that subline to sell out in my area. (But it’s okay because I went there and got a lemon-scented dinosaur of my very own. I now have 3 of the SS86 Grimlock mold and might get the blue one next year. I regret nothing.)

 

I wonder if they're waiting until they've sold a big portion of those discounted Legacy figures before they put these out on American shelves. I'm glad to have most of them from Pulse, but that ninjacycle speaks to me.

 

So no one in the US has found these in stores yet?

 

Lockdown is available on Walmart's site but has shot up to $37 (says it's sold and shipped by Walmart so not a third party seller) and when I try to click the Road Pig listing it just sends me to a collectibles page... yeah, got a funny feeling about this one.

 

I just got Cannonball and Filch, love both of them. Cannonball probably has the WORST case of looking bad in photos and looking great in hand.

Just picked this guy up so the first thing I had to do was try this out. It's a very loose connection but I do think it looks better than the official configuration and should be able to be tightened up with some minor modification.



Haven't found good integration for his other thruster though other than just using it as a handheld gun.

 

Done with this sub line. Passed on Lockdown and Thundertron. The ones I got are fantastic!

Cannonball is probably my favourite, the retooling is extensive and I love the brand new accessories.

filch is great, and the blend of mechanical and organic work the best out of all the uses of this mold.

Piggy is the best ❤️

Ferak’s wing guns are awesome, I don’t have to give him the other gun that sucks.

 

Out of curiosity, did you pick them up at a US store, or Canadian? If US this could be the first sighting.

Got Cannonball today and of all the neat things with him, the weapon storage in the legs somehow stands out the most. I'll happily get this guy again as Red Alert.

Question for you guys regarding Thundertron, what's up with the claws behind his robot mode hands? Is that meant to represent fake alt mode kibble? I'd understand if the original had it out of necessity for transformation but it's not the case, so I just don't get the design choice.

 

Nowadays it always seems like any out-of-place design elements are meant for pretooling. In this case, maybe Cyberverse Thunderhowl.

 

Doubledown talks like comic book guy and collects accessories then bitches about paint and mold quality etc  

 

Doubledown won't pay the four bucks shipping to buy a toy online but he'll use a $40 tank of gas driving around to walmarts for a month
