I have a gut feeling that this Grimlock will have gold paint applications similar to Commander Armada's Optimus Prime.

ok, so assuming this can be a multi wave line, here's what i think could be in it: G2 breakdown has gotten several figures over the years compared to the others, so i'd peg him as a regular selects or some other type of exclusive. so that'd leave Wildrider to get added in. next additions would be the laser rod Jazz and Soundwave and already that's enough deluxes to count for a wave. voyagers could easily be the last 2 unreleased seekers. while for the leader i imagine would be the G2 Sludge (with swoop coming in a hypothetical wave 3) or maybe that combat hero prime from laser prime that some have mentioned.

 

I don't think the light piping is bad on Tarn and the figure is amazing.

 

The only G2 color scheme for Sideswipe I\'m aware of is the black and red. So are they just reissuing the G2 Sideswipe from the Amazon exclusive set?

I'm hoping they continue giving us more cancelled G1 seeker repaints! I'd love to see the Blackout repaint, and the camouflaged Starscream repaint!

 

Probably of the Kingdom retool. Maybe they'll retool it a bit to get the spoiler and replace the battlemaster with a green weapon.

 

I never liked the look of the Legacy G2 Prime mold but that Toxitron is very tempting.
Kind of sad that Grimlock isn't in his traditional G2 colour scheme, I'll probably still get him though, giving him the IDW head sculpt is a really cool touch.

I'll be really bummed if Sideswipe is the unreleased deco though.

Considering the Velocitron capsule line was distributed through Smyths Toys and Hasbro pulse last year, I would assume the same will be true for the G2 line.
I don't know about the G1 reissues though.

G2 Dead End + Shadowstrip (G2 Dragstrip) + upcoming G2 Wildrider... All we need now is a G2 Breakdown and G2 Motormaster to get G2 Menasor. Surprised they aren't doing a G2 box set, though. Menasor has been a really tough combiner to complete and a G2 Menasor is going to be even worse.

 

Can we now get some conehead redecos that isn’t just Ramjet? Ik that’s the only one used in G2 but still. I’d be fine for new or unique shit like G1/ER Thrust in Bumblebee movie color scheme.

 

Doubt it. The theme of these figures seem to be unreleashed deco's: the blue conehead, Jazz, Toxitron, G2 Grimlock, G2 Mirage.

Sideswipe was planned to get a second release in G2, which never happened: a yellow/turquoise deco. I suspect it will be that one.

 

Yeah, that Toxitron looks really cool. I'm trying to justify how to fit him into my collection without going down a G2 rabbit hole.

I've been hoping for Blast (black Thrust, a random miscoloured Thrust who showed up in the original cartoon every now and again) and SG Dirge (Dirge (G1) in Dirge's (BW2) colours)
