I heard Earth mode Hound is released under Buzzworthy Bumblebee (Target exclusive) banner.

 

Based on Shattered Glass Jetfire, Black Zarak and Guardian Robot I'd hazard to guess G2 Motormaster would be a Generations Selects release. It seems Commander and Titan classes typically don't get the store exclusive treatment for Target or Walmart.

Grimlock is a solid maybe, I'll pre-order to be safe and I'll have to decide between him and SG Grimlock
Cloudcover is a must-have
Mirage is a must-have
Sideswipe is a maybe, entirely depending on how nice the gradient looks
Jazz is an easy skip, I love the color orange more than most people and even I can't love this palette
Dead End is an easy skip, just not an interesting color scheme and I don't need to dedicate myself to a second set of Stunticons
Shadowstrip is an easy skip, as I already have him

I just realized that the capsule line's reveal makes it definitive that Legacy Y2 somehow has even less that interests me than Legacy Y1 did. I was honestly so convinced that the boredom of Evolution would continue that, when I first saw this line, I had forgotten there had ever been a chance of something interesting being in it.

 

Why would they have cancelled Hound just because this Jazz happens to have the same weapons? It's just re (pre) use that makes sense

 

God I hope Amazon\'s is better, last year Wreckers, this year Mayhem.

 

We need a generations art book, the art on these boxes is so vibrant and full of life, please Hasbro I'm begging you!

 

I think Jazz could have used more color break up on his face. I know it's accurate to the concept art, but it makes him look like an unfinished prototype. Still getting him, of course.
Cloudcover is a very welcome addition, though part of me wishes he used the standard Seeker head to mix things up a bit. This will be the third straight recolor of Ramjet so far. The original Seeker molds could go either way with the head configuration. It would have been nice to see that reflected with either this guy or Sandstorm.
Grimlock and Toxitron are just perfect. Toxitron always looks cool, and I've been hoping for a release of that Grimlock color scheme since it was first revealed.

 

They finally release a G1 Hound (which I thought I had btw) not only does it not have cool ol school style box art and colors like most of my other g1 reissues,

it's not even painted like the original? Fail

Anyways. The capsule is officially called the “Toxitron Collection”

 

Love that Toxitron to bits. That's the one color scheme I always wanted to have as a figure after seeing the Universe-one made out of Unobtainium. The idea of a "toxic" Transformer is so cool to me, just image all the chemical ooze and stuff. The liquid poison Energon running out of his palms and solidifying into the sword. It's always nice when a Transformers toy can spark my imagination like that, happens rarely these days.

Next up for my want list, Masterpiece Toxitron, and should they ever reissue the original Laser Prime I hope they repaint him into Toxitron at last.

Should be available in the UK and Europe like the Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection was, right? Same deal, Walmart Exclusive repaint line with some extra stuff. I think regular retailers and Hasbro Pulse sold them outside the US.

The whole thing is named after him? They are all "Toxic" Transformers? That's fun, I like quite that. Bodes ill for my wallet though, should I want the whole crew as pals for Toxitron.

 

Thundercracker looks pretty bland in his animation colors. The original toy deco looked much better

 

The rest of the deluxes are underwhelming. I’ll be sticking with Toxitron (on clearance) and Cloudcover. Atleast it’ll leave me some money to spend elsewhere

 

How I feel about g2 is how NEW fans feel about g1 cartoon series hate g2 they have ugly colors

 

Holy... I absolutely need that blue Conehead. Was hoping they'd make one, though I really hoped they would use the Dirge mould to make it a bit different (but that would be inaccurate).

Not sure about the others. Jazz is crazy enough to be interesting.

But why Walmart?!?! Those are either impossible to get or very expensive if you live in Europe. (I think I paid about the same for my MP Hot Rod as the Retro G1 Hot Rod would cost me.)
