The last Shrapnel toy got a repaint and new head to become Chop Shop. With how much paint they used on Deluxe Shrapnel they MUST be prepared to repeat this

 

I believe all that paint is necessary on Shrapnel because his colour mouldganging is set up ready to do Chop Shop in the correct colour breakdown limb/parts wise.

 

Just a warning for Toxitron, they package his sword the same way they did with laser Prime, meaning it comes slightly bent out of packaging. Can't remember how they packaged it with Scourge but his sword is perfectly straight

 

I got mine, too. The colours do so much to save the figure for me. I'm perfectly fine with the wonky shoulders because, hey, Toxitron is kind of a wonky guy. Even the legs looking so long because the whole hip and crotch section is grey doesn't bother me much. I do wish he had a gun but I've got bags of accessories so that's easily fixed.

I got mine from an independent Swedish online toy store.

 

Got my Toxitron from TF-Robots.nl today, he's great! The deco looks amazing, the colors are just stunning in person and he looks fantastic paired up with Laser Prime and Scourge!

 

The boxart of Toxitron is damn nice and feel very sorry if its going into trash. The paint really pops and I'm liking it a lot. The joint is slight loose compare to Nemesis Prime version. I wish that there are more paint to the Matrix of Leadership instead of everything is in orange

Wonder if there ever going to release shattered glass OP and shattered glass UM using this mold

 

Personally, I hope they do G2 Laser Magnus from the mold and then retire it.

SG Optimus and Magnus have figures and Hasbro seems to be trying to retire the Funpub version of SG.

They're also both dead as far as the story is concerned.

 

None of that makes a Laser version any likelier.

 

Also, the IDW SG storyline itself is dead, unless whichever comic company picks up the TF license decides to continue it

 

That's what I've been holding out for, we'll see if my gamble pays off...

Also, with Toxitron out there, surely we will be seeing G2 Grimlock soon...

 

+1, easy fix in like two panels IF the comic still existed and IF Hasbro dictated the author needed to bring them into the story to promote.

Want Laser Magnus next tho... But I'll grab this mold in any deco they wanna use.

 

Didn't g2 grim hit US shores month(s) ago? We are more than due, but Walmart may have a street date for the whole line. My personal thoughts are that they will stick to the end of July (like the pulse releases say) so that the ROTB movie items can be cleared out after the movie hype dies

 

I am far too anxious for this line to be in my greedy hands. Can't wait for the rest to be offered too. Not a fan of the dinky Laser OP sword so I was happy to order Renderform versions for Toxitron and Laser OP. I chose red for OP since that is what his sword originally lit up as. I find it strange that at a certain point Hasbro changed updated versions of the sword to blue and we just rolled with it. Not a bad thing, just an observation.

 

Anyone have comparisons of the original G2 Laser Optimus and the new one?

 

My son has the Legacy Laser Prime and a copy of R1D Scourge...
