I wish they had molded the shoulderjoints and elbowjoints in red plastic instead of blue. And the hipjoints in silver. I suppose it's something to do with gangmolding like the back of the legs or something.

 

Is it just my copy or is ER Optimus Autobot symbol paint chipping off. 

 

That Optimus seems really G2 to me. It would probably have been better with yellow eyes with the darker red and blue but it’s not really that distracting.

 

i really like the axe and shield but not enough to buy the whole set.

 

So... after seeing the new exclusive prime......... I'm getting him and i'll be using Toyhax labels and keeping him in truck form with the other prime's trailer and use Earthrise Prime in bot mode.

 

I\'d be willing to buy the shield and axe guys from anyone who doesn\'t want them.

 

That's a really great idea actually. I hope there's enough of him to go around so I can do the same.

 

It doesn\'t looks like his G1 cartoon.

 

You know what I think this Optimus reminds me of? The early beginnings of the Rebirth where Optimus's legs, hands and head were a dark blue/black. If you think about it the look could work as a post-war Optimus look in a stop motion.

 

Kinda wish this version got the yellow eyes from the Earthrise renders

Ok, I have 2 plans here. First plan, I buy Toyhax labels and put them on this Prime, and use the Earthrise Prime\'s trailer, to give this Prime a toy accurate look. Second plan, I buy Nemesis Prime and paint his trailer to give it a G2 feel, and then use this Prime as a G2 Prime.

 

The stock photos make prime look way better.

 

So weird that the blue arm joints are real. I figured that was just Takara's sample.

As much as I hate toy accuracy, this figure should have had yellow eyes. Im only buying him for the weapons. But it would have differentiated the two better.
