I wonder if this is two different waves?
    ...9937821xx wave 2?:
    Bumblebee EAN:5010993782178
    Elita 1 EAN:5010993782161
    Wheeljack EAN: 5010993782123
    Red alert EAN: 5010993782116

    And ...993777xxx Wave 3?:
    Impactor EAN: 5010993782864
    Deep Cover EAN: 5010993777501
    Barricade EAN: 5010993777495
    Quintesson EAN: 5010993777525
    Deluxe Cheetor EAN:5010993777549

Wave one had mostly the same EAN#s mostly ....36956xx

Ultra Magnus “Spoiler pack” Battlefield Rung EAN: 5010993695713
    Decepticon Mirage EAN: 5010993695607
    Hound EAN: 5010993695652
    Sideswipe EAN: 5010993695638
    Chromia EAN: 5010993695669
    Scrapface (Refraktor repaint) EAN: 5010993695621
Megatron and Captive Lionizer, Captive Pinpointer 3-pack EAN 5010993695614
Hotlink and Fire Twins Heartburn and Heatstroke 3 pack EAN 5010993695645

I wonder if there will be two more 5 Deluxe 2 leader waves since the EANs are so far apart for the recently revealed ones and there's a few leaders to be discovered? 5010993 seems be the prefix for toys/ transformers specifically?

Edit: added the new Cheetor listing TRA Deluxe Cheetor EAN:5010993777549 to my list. Fits into my "wave 3?" part of my theory.

I'm fairly certain it's the Chromia mold, specifically transformed without folding the wheels back flat against the back-kibble. Poooooosibly a reshell with a different car mode... but the upper torso definitely seems to be Chromia, especially looking at the neck area.

It's a bit if a lose-lose situation, really. Chromia is a bad mold but the Arcee with its ridiculous "hoverboard" nonsense doesn't look much better. At least if it's the Chromia mold you can have all the Season 2 girls with moreorless matching molds, given how similar it is to the POTP femmebot mold.

One day I'd like a mold in the Generations line that is designed specifically to he a female character to actually be good... all the best femmebot toys are retools of male molds! T30 Arcee is probably the closest we got and it still has a bucketload of problems.

As long as Hasbro continues to make the femmebots have a distinctly womanly silhouette I think we're always going to run into these issues. I think the only ones that were meant to be female from the start that worked out well were T30 Chromia and Arcee and TR Windblade.

TR Windblade was a very good toy and is criminally underrated... but she was in fact a retool of Highbrow. Personally I was never a fan of T30 Chromia, though... she was also a retool of PRID Arcee, so she wasn't a mold intended as being a Generations femmebot.

But yeah. Even just from a standpoint of wanting good toys of girl characters and divorcing it from sexism, the hourglass femmebot trend should be something left in the past.

Just throwing this out there, but if the Netflix line is using figures from Earthrise as well as Siege (as it looks 99.99% likely it is) then what’s there to stop the Barricade figure they’re releasing actually being an Earthrise Smokescreen repaint rather than a Siege one?

It would make sense, the original Barricade ‘G1’ art Guido Guidi did was of Smokescreen’s earth mode. You get another repaint out of Earthrise Smokescreen, and makes it more likely that the Prowl (plus inevitable Bluestreak) HasTak is releasing will have a bit more remolding.

That's actually a good point. If it ends up being the case I'll get that Barricade for sure.

Another good mold! She wasn't for the Generations line though...

We have had good femmebot toys outside Generations. Animated Arcee, nuRID Windblade, Legends/Animated Black Arachnia and SS Jet-mode Shatter (OMG such a great toy!) are a couple of examples.

EDIT: I just remembered that we have had the one, objectively good, dedicated femmebot: good old POTP Slash! I wonder if she was always intended to be a girl, though...

That would be awesome but from what we’ve seen Barricade in the show uses the Siege mold. I’m hoping for the Siege mold but with paint aps closer to the original render.

I don't think I'd mind to much if Hasbro brushed the dust of the older Universe/Classics Hound mould if that was something they were going to label as Gi Joe related - it does somewhat look like a VAMP or a Cobra Stinger Jeep in general shape. as for a Night Raven there is always Earthrise Snapdragon they could use as a Nightraven of Sky Raven.

But in general terms i'd be happy with a Detritus from either mould (or even a remould of the siege one) I like both toys about the same i'd say. I'd just like some sort of Detritus as he has a fun character premise (I've long wanted a sand legion class repaint too) - I do have the G1 derived on and the MFT one though.

If they make a fembot Ladybug Insecticon looaly based on the Beetras design I will send John Warden a thank you note in a christmas card (no I'm not even kidding).

Your sleuthing is good... I’d think your waves are backwards since I’d imagine Wave 2 would be Siege focused and Wave 3 Earthrise focused, but then you have that pesky Cheetos listing which throws my theory out of wack) unless he does end up being a vehicular “pre-cheetah” alt mode.... whic I have a hard time seeing...

I was totally thinking about this on my run yesterday morning, Probably depends on where they us the character, if he’s featured in Siege I’d gues Cybertronian mold with more grunge, if he’s more featured in Earthrise, probably wave 3 and the ER mold...

Yeah that’s my thinking, & I have to imagine we’ll get a Barricade deco of ER Smokescreen eventually, so even if this one is his Siege mode it doesn’t rule out another one further down the line.

Not sure why people are quick to assume Bumblebee is just gonna be a yellow Cliffjumper. There was a listing found for a Generation Selects Hubcap, so I don't think there is really anything to worry about. I think worst case scenario is that they will just use the same arms and legs, and probably the same transformation scheme, which shouldn't be a surprise at this point.

Overall, some of the new characters listed make me pretty interested. I'm glad to see Elita-1, but I'm really not sure what to expect from her new toy.

    Arcee from ER

Is the best way to find these in stores? I know Walmart.com isn’t alway the most reliable.

Yeah, checking all the Walmart’s is the best method at this point. I almost
Gave up finding Magnus but on my 7th store I found it.

As has been discussed, she looks like she's a retool (reshell?) of Chromia, based on the animation model.
