The Sideswipe mold is my favorite from Siege, so I\'ll need that Deep Cover

 

It'd still be better than her potp voyager mold

Then again I don't know that I can stomach the long car mold any longer.

 

I found it ridiculous that we never got proper Cybertronian modes of Wheeljack and Bumblebee, considering they were two of the only characters in MTMTE part one seen with them on Cybertron. If these end up being those designs (which I doubt, as that would be extensive retooling) I will gladly get them.

 

Yeah, with so many people losing their jobs, a global pandemic & financial collapse, you'd think the buying would slow down. But nope! It just keeps getting worse & worse. Now the latest problem we have to worry about are the BLINK & YOU MISS THEM pre-orders.

And if Hasbro won't make them, WTF is wrong with all the 3rd party companies? They just keep regurgitating the same characters over & over again.

Yeah, I'd like to see a few more alt modes and body types too.

Bumblebee - Obvious Cliffjumper new head retool or shared engineering. Or possibly a new mold or some insane retooling into a cybertronian saucer thing, which with the inclusion of wheeljack on this list would make since.
Quintesson- Alicon redeco, maybe in the colors that Takara showed when they announced Alicon has a TTMall exclusive (those were still probably early version though). Or maybe a Prosecutor or something.
Wheeljack- ER Wheeljack retool into cybertronian form.
Impactor - Obvious.
Deep Cover - Redeco of Sideswipe
Red Alert - Obvious.
Barricade - Obvious.
Elita One - Retool of chromia???? I don't know, I don't really think that would work very well. Would prefer a new voyager mold.
Will 100% buy Bee and Wheeljack to recreate the opening scene of mtmte part 1. 100% buy Quintesson. If it is in the Generations line and contains the word quintesson in its name, I'll buy it. Impactor is a maybe for me, I already own siege Impactor. Deep Cover I'll probably get. Red Alert is an easy no for me. Barricade I'll have to see how he looks. Elita is another 100% buy for me, as long as it isn't like the potp one.

 

A g2 Sideswipe already exists. It's great looking.

 

Since the Netflix line has been just straight repaints, maybe Elita One is getting a toy in Part 3 and this is an "early release" repaint of sorts?

 

If they make her a fucking retool of Chromia I'm gonna lose it.
Chromia and the other figures of the same mold ain't a toy with a backpack, they're a backpack with a toy. That thing has the engineering of a dry carrot.

As would I, but it wouldn't stop me from buying it.

 

Based on Wave 1 and the 35th line, I wouldn't COUNT on any new tooling, but it could be a couple of these (Elita 1) will have a new head that was made in the design process. I imagine Wheeljack and Bumblebee will just be repaints of the Earthrise molds (we haven't seen BB yet, but there's a lot of smoke that he's coming) ~ did Bluestreak have a new head or was he a straight redeco of Prowl?

Ridiculously excited for Deep Cover. Him and Exhaust cross off 2 more Diaclones in CHUG (I wonder if he'll actually show up in the show)

Hopefully these guys paint jobs are as good as the best of Wave 1...

we haven't had a decent repaints line in years, hope they pull some repaints from further back into this too

 

another thought/question: Wave 1 was 5 figures, this is 8: is this a wave of 8 figures or a Wave 2 and a Wave 3...
