    Wave 2 just acquired!

So Hasbro....just a reminder....if you put out all of the current Autobot cars, Decpticon jets, 86 movie figures, or pretty much any other figure from the last few lines in retro packaging, I WILL buy them all.

    Just sayin...

The issue with Weirdwolf hasn't been confirmed to be on the Retro release yet. However, I've been told that the rubbery window piece on the Retro one feels very similar to previous releases. I cut the whole piece off of mine just to be safe.

I'd guess that it's probably just these two waves, especially with the BW reissues being announced as the next "retro" line.

So, I got the whole wave 2 of these guys so far only opened Highbrow.

I gotta say out of all the characters Hasbro retooled this mold from, highbrow is the weakest of the offerings.the main positive is, at least he comes with his 2 guns. (unlike the other 3 autobot headmasters)

his crappy wrists, crappy headmaster connecter, and honestly tons of other things. such a heavily disappointing figure. such a shame too.

He's one of the coolest looking headmasters. Always really loved him. but this is my first time owning this version. (never found the original titan master version)

I get Hasbro trying to save a buck or 2 using the mold, but it was a huge mistake IMO with Highbrow. They should have gave him a unique mold. This could have been a really cool figure.

I thought the original Titans Return version was a great figure, no issues at all, i just kind of thought he was just a bit bland in robot mode like some of the others. Nice colours.

it's the fact he's a heavy retool. I can't recall offhand the first to use the main mold he was retooled from (was it topspin? twintwist? I honestly don't recall anymore, it's been too long.) Anyway, I just think e could have been a really cool piece had he had his own mold. as it stands i had forgot to mention, his hips also suck. Maybe it's just my lack of experience with the figure. again first time owning him. wasn't ever lucky enough to find the original titans return version.

Again he's nice to stare at, neat looking character overall. I had always considered him the most highly advanced looking of his 4 Autobot Headmaster bros.

I think he was Scourge first actually believe it or not. Might be mistaken but pretty sure that was it. As i said can't speak for the walmart one but the original version was decent and solid from what i remember. Mind you going off memory compared to modern figures. The only one in Titans i remember particularly sucking was Skullcruncher. Great looking but poor execution.

Hope you find one but, if the pricing holds true, it may be cheaper to buy a new one....

Is it really still an extensive retool when 90% of a new toy is different?

So I have wave 2 on preorder (go ahead - laugh; I did while typing it). Was anyone else able to do it? Did you get them yet?

I still have wave 1's heating the shelf in Milford PA. Most of them are up top now. Must have ordered several boxes of them because there were at least 4 of each figure, probably more a few weeks ago. Not sure if that's a sign that the manager would have ordered a bunch of wave 2 as well, or if he overordered 1 so he wouldn't have to bother with 2.

Got lucky, I cancelled my preorders after finding them in store. Wave 1 got an initial stock of 2 cases in my area & was restocked once a few weeks later with another 2 cases. Wave 2 was the exact same story so I'm sure that's that for them around here, the next "retro" figures we'll see are the Beast Wars ones
