Wondering if a 3d printed faceplate would put too much stress on the face paint. Might have to make a new faceplate somehow since a lazily cut up piece of paper works okay.

Seeing them in hand and taking a look a my collection again recently as I got new shelves, I really wish I had gotten Brainstorm too. He was the only one of these 7 during Titan Return I didn't get as I liked my Thrilling 30 one still, but now do kinda wish I had gotten this one to fit in with the rest.

 

Just to clarify, you didn’t order from WM, or did you? Otherwise, this is the first time I’ve heard them shipping wave 2.

 

Oh well now I'm looking even dumber. I didn't read the email I got from Walmart close enough, because it's actually RED Cheetor that shipped. When I got the email I just assumed it was Weirdwolf since I had seen some had him in hand. My bad...

 

Just saw Highbrow pop-up for $19.99. Snagged him. Guessing somebody cancelled a pre-order.

 

Is it ready to ship? If so I HATE pre-orders. I have them sitting here waiting to fulfill grrrr...

What's scarier are the sheer volume of people buying for those inflated prices vs. waiting a small amount of time to watch the prices tumble. Remember as well - Hasbro Pulse will carry Walmart exclusives in limited qty. These are not Devastator or Starscream - they are guaranteed to be over supplied just like every wave since the first selection.

 

V2 of the Crappy Faceplate. Only trimmed the sides to be angular so that they sit flush. Stays on super securely. With some precise folding and cutting, I really think this could work as my permanent solution.

 

Something tells me you’d rather have the original TR version. Just a hunch.

 

I do like the titan master teslor on the retro brainstorm. The slight colors of the aqua green of the titan master and brainstorm doesnt really bother me.

 

I do quite like the original, but it’s really not worth it for me to track down one secondhand when the only thing I’d really want it for is a different face. $20 and a trip to Walmart is more my speed.

 

Hopefully, this isn't too spammy, but I think I'm leaving it like this for the time being. I made another with some cleaner folds. I tried making one with the angles a bit more slanted, but didn't look quite right.

 

If you do want the teals to match, it's very easy to unscrew and swap Titan Master faceplates. I've done it a bunch of times.

Am I the only one buying two of each just to get the extra guns? I like the look of them with a matching pair of guns like the originals (and the box art).

 

I 3D-printed G1-style guns for mine. Still need to print a set for Highbrow.

 

You have Highbrow? Did they fix the neck?
