Yup. These boxes are HOT! I've never been tempted so badly to keep a toy MISB. Hasbro is pushing all the right buttons here...

Truly incredible that Wal-Mart has still not put up Pre-Orders for their own exclusives.

Walmart exclusive? Might as well be exclusive to FAO Schwarz on Jupiter. I'll never see them at any of my local Walmarts within an hour's drive. They either never stock their own exclusives or they don't stock Transformers at all now. Buying off their website is a shit show. You've got better odds winning the Powerball than actually getting the right toy, if they even honor your orders. Boxes look nice tho.

Hell yeah VICTORY. These are not reissue headmaster's unfortunately though bro, they are reissue Titan Master/Legends Series(Jap.)

I completely agree & was coming here to voice my opinion I'm kinda pissed that they are cheaping out on the toys if they are even remotely same price I will only buy them if they stock em for reasonable price/in store. Problem is, they are the worst to deal with. Im STILL waiting for my wave 1 R.E.D. case due August 10th (I believe) also have all these Titans Return/LGs lol. In fact the only reason I would actually buy these is bc I have all LGs EXCEPT these exact four.

think if they don't sell as much

Me too man afraid if they sell well they won't do the reissues anymore. Those are great but we'll see. ##dont buy people## :-D (obviously at least half joking) :lol

Man.... the TechSpecs just get worse and worse with all the BS legal mumbo-jumbo and multi language crap. What is the point of the "vintage" style packaging if it is compromised so much with all that legal and localization BS?

Damn, it's irritating how good these look, and they're not re-issues...
I guess Hasbro probably threw away the original molds? (melted down)
Would love to see Encore or Re-issues from this era or the ones beyond it like Masterforce and Victory.

Meh, It's not my thing. The releases of the Collaborative Series figures in G1 Style Packaging was cool. But, this isn't exactly my thing.

Except That's not the same thing we're talking about and doesn't do the same job.

Toys have had media tie ins since He-man. Many many toys in the line do not appear on the shows and many that do appear in the background, minor roles or in flatly written shows that give them no discernible unique personality or character.

One of the reasons Joe and Transformers were huge things was that basically every single toy was given a unique bio, abilities, job, personality or backstory right on the package. It brought every toy and character and hence their worlds to life in a real way for every kid looking at a box or buying a random character in a store.

Cartoons do that maybe for the stars, if you see them and you're lucky and they are well written. Transformers made their mark by doing it for every toy.

-ZacWilliam, it certainly helped that Joe and TFs had two great Marvel Comics writers creating every character bio.

Well we do know that Punch/Counterpunch, Skullcruncher, and Weirdwolf are coming I assuming that Highbrow also part, but that just guessing in my part.

I\'m gonna have to bite on all of these I think, just for the G1 heads/decos.

yeah so far it's just the headmasters and punch, depending on it's success i wouldn't be surprised if the line continues with targetmasters and the horrorcons, it may be too soon for horrorcon reissues however by the time a hypothetical 3rd wave to get released it would be well over a year away from now

Damn it, you bastards. I just completed my ‘87 Headmasters with Scorponok and Snapdragon, I’m not starting over again.

But if they re-release Highbrow with any sort of fix to the neck I’ll be grabbing one for sure.

Never got Chromedome because I didn't like the IDW head and didn't want to shell out for the Takara version.

    Now? Bought on sight.
