Hmm. Getting a little worried- have not been charged for my SS order yet. Still says processing, which it said since I placed initial order...

I was just able to order Devastator. Estimated arrival date for shipping 8/22 to CA.

Got Devy pre-ordered. They are out of stock now. Just need the Mini-bots.
Managed to snatch starscream and hot rod. Not bad for randomly waking up and checking tfw
So does that mean they should be fulfilling the preorders? Or should I cancel and reorder?
Since these are also preorders I'm keeping my original preorder. I'm guessing that they finally made it through customs and we'll get them in hand soon...
That said, I am an optimist!

Can any online store get their act together? HasbroToyShop canceling SDCC orders (which is amazing that people were even able to make an order, considering all the errors and glitches that day) and their "Check back tomorrow", Amazon sending stuff in bubble envelopes that get damaged during shipment, Walmart doing, well I have no idea what they're doing with these.
All I know that I've had these stupid things preordered for like three weeks and if they're putting them up again as "in-stock", I would like to think the preorders would be shipping out first.
I still have an delivery estimate of 8/17 for Hot Rod (which I'm doubting), but 8/29 for Starscream, even though both are in stock.
My Hot Rods said in stock when I bought them with supposed delivery on the 8th of August. Well. That didn't happen. I honestly don't think these are truly in stock yet but rather received at Central and being dispatched to the regional DC's now.
I remain convinced that something out of their control occurred but as we don't want to drag politics into this I'll just say I think these took way longer than expected to clear customs.
I tried to call Walmart customer service about my preorder being fulfilled since the item is in stock. Let me just say they were less than helpful by no fault of the person most likely by their training not being the best. Basically all they could tell me is that it is supposed to arrive Friday which it always has said since the preorder.
Oh, you can never go by their customer service. Ever. I never thought I'd say this, but the store level associates are far more knowledgeable about things than the CSRs at the .com number. By far. It's insane how detached they are from their job. I couldn't even get return policy information over the phone for a .com order I had made. Went to the local store and they were like "Oh, yeah! Not only can you return it, we can rerun it with a price match to save you even more money. All we need is your ID and your receipt." It was painless, just time consuming.
When I got the survey via email, it was a scathing report by the time I was done.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for supporting people at the retail level. I worked retail, I know how much it can suck, but the management and the people on the phones do deserve our anger because they're supposed to know what they're doing since they're running the underlings and the stores and the .com.
It's inexcusable at this point. This is one of the reasons Amazon is actual competition to Walmart, they're at least somewhat competent. (Somewhat...)
I spoke to soon,. Just got another " your items are delayed" email..... Well ship them as soon as possible smh....
Just put in an order for Starscream, like Hot Rod it says I'll be able to pick it up Friday but unlike Hot Rod I've been charged (or pending I should say) for Screamer as I keep saying we'll see come Friday but I'm not holding out to be able to pick up Hot Rod this week.
Just waiting for Outback & Bumblebee to go back up for order.
