I thought the stores were going to remove Animated figures on May 29th. I was at Walmart tonight & they still have an Animated section that looks like it will run side by side with the movie line. Maybe we'll be getting Arcee after all?

if they keep TFA figs they will reduce the size of the space for them and possibly the prices to clear them out

Not only Walmart did'nt remove the Animated, but Target and TRU has not either. I am expecting for them to put the Animated on clearance.

    *gasp* AIIIIIEEEEE!!!!

Well then, there's a definitely good chance we'll see the remaining Animated figures we were "promised" in the press release and pictures at Toy Fair earlier this year.

That and the whole "retailers haven't gotten rid of Animated, it's also part of the planogram as a restockable item, not clearance material" thing helps too.

I saw the Wal-Mart planogram for the Hermitage PA store. Animated is not on clearance, it's not a non replenishable item, they're going to continue to carry it until the end of the line. (Whenever and whatever the hell that is.)

These Botcon pics help solidify our chances of getting Arcee. Yesssss.

They didn't remove them because they still have too much stock to sell. Taking them out now is an instant loss. Keeping them in the store will make sure some of them will be bought in the end.

Remember that the whole 'Animated is competing with ROTF' isn't a retailer thing, probably more a Hasbro thing. For a retailed, a sale is a sale.

Expect this Animated stock to slowly dissolve over time.
